OK, folks, with the Shanshus on the horizon, I thought it was a good idea to spread the world and expose a few Mehr people to Angel. The Mehr people who see the series and Liebe it, the Mehr people there are that might get involved in the Shanshus.

But Angel – Jäger der Finsternis isn't for everyone. I know, as an Angel – Jäger der Finsternis fan, that seems blasphemous. However, not everyone in the world likes the same stuff, that's just a given. As shocking as it may be, there are people out there who won't get that much out of Angel – Jäger der Finsternis as others. And I completely respect that. That's why I gathered this Liste together of the kind of people who should try Angel – Jäger der Finsternis on for size. If Du can relate to anything on this list, then the odds of Du falling in Liebe with Angel – Jäger der Finsternis increase dramatically. If Du relate to nothing on this list, then maybe Angel – Jäger der Finsternis isn't the right Zeigen for you.

WHAT KIND OF PERSON WOULD Liebe ANGEL?

1) link Fans that have never seen David Boreanaz out of his clean-cut FBI suit. Almost everyone who loves Bones loves Seeley Booth, and if you're one of those Seeley Booth fans, then Angel – Jäger der Finsternis is a must-see. Angel – Jäger der Finsternis also gave TJ Thyne a start in Fernsehen (as a lawyer in Angel – Jäger der Finsternis season 5), so as a dedicated Bones fan, how can Du miss this opportunity? Really?

2) link Fans that somehow missed the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" boat. Even if you've never seen Buffy, Angel – Jäger der Finsternis is a great Zeigen to watch if you're a Fan of vampire and its mythology. Tired of Twilight vamps monopolizing the market right now? Angel – Jäger der Finsternis can't go out in the sunlight, has no reflection, is burned Von crosses and holy water, dies with a stake through his heart, and (when he doesn't have a soul) is often quite evil. And even when he isn't evil and drinks pig's blood, he never, ever, ever claims to be a "vegetarian." Get back to the basic, classic, mythic vampire and watch some Angel!

3) Fans of paranormal-related dramas like link oder link. Are Du a Fan of witches, werewolves, ghosts, demon hunters, and the epic battle between good and evil? Fantastic! Angel – Jäger der Finsternis is just the new Zeigen Du need to sink your teeth into! There's no way this Zeigen isn't right up your alley, so check it out!

4) Fans of link, the spin-off of the beloved link series. I know that Captain John Hart was mightily well-received Von the Torchwood audience... and part of that may be because of Buffy Fans that decided to watch Torchwood. But if Von chance Du were a Torchwood Fan first, then Du should pick up Angel. Just like number three reason, it has all the paranormal bugaboo that Torchwood deals with, but it ALSO has Captain John Hart (or James Marsters) as Spike, who arrives in Season 5 to haunt Angel.

5) link and link fans! Angel – Jäger der Finsternis (and Buffy, too) has spawned an incredible comic series that is definitely worth a look. I just finished the latest released volume, and let me tell Du that it is mindblowing. But why read the comics before Du saw the series? Watch the series, read the comics, get addicted. Du won't regret it.

And finally...

6) link!!! I can't stress this enough. I used to be one of those "Buffy Only" fans. I used to think, "Well, Angel – Jäger der Finsternis was so broody and annoying on Buffy, I don't think I'd like him in his own series." But oh wow, was I wrong! Just as characters change and evolve on Buffy, Angel – Jäger der Finsternis really blossoms on his own show. Even if Du don't buy that, the characters of Angel – Jäger der Finsternis are just as if not Mehr endearing than the characters of Buffy. If Du are like I once was, and just watch Buffy, then please, Du of anyone on this Liste should definitely pick up Angel. When Du start watching it, you'll be kicking yourself for not having done it sooner. The stories, dialogue, and even the characters are very reminiscent of Buffy, but they also are often darker. The characters go to places Du can't even guess right now because you've never seen them. Wesley and Cordelia? They aren't the same bumbling watcher and preppy cheerleader they were on Buffy. They really come into their own. Please, I highly recommend that Du see Angel. You'll wonder why Du never saw it before.

Jennifer1985 You summarized it pretty well =) Maybe Angel is also a TV show for fans of Dr. Horrible. Joss Whedon was involved in both, and if they love Joss (and Dr. Horrbile of course), they love Angel, too.

OceanCoast I agree with you totally. Unlike most series spinoffs, Angel not only survived past its first season (which is rarely seen in non-comedy spinoffs) but also established its own separate fanbase and really came into its own as a great show separate from its counterpart. I'm a huge Buffy fan but even I must admit that every character who originated from Buffy who ended up on Angel, had much, much more successful character development than the rest of the Buffy cast who remained till the end (save for Spike who really dosen't count since he continued on Angel). I mean look at this characters you have: Cordelia Darla Wesley *one of thee best character transformations character in tv history* Spike Angel himself All of these characters were like completely different people by the time their storylines concluded, or Angel ended. This was not through convoluted dramatic character adjustments, but through gradual progression and experiences which lead each character to grow and prosper from their original frame work. Thats great writing at its best.

I LOVED him on BTVS, that's where my Angel/David obsession started (oh and I was no dewey eyed teen.. I was 40, and am still totally in love with the guy). I have followed him through his Buffy journey and then into Angel and now Bones. I agree.. Angel did grow as a character once he had his own series, but wouldnt that have been expected? I shouldnt have imagined it would have survived if the characters did not evolve.. plus I don't think the show would have the current day appeal it does either.. and I know from forums like this that both BTVS and Angel still have loyal long time followers and a new league of fans just learning about these amazing characters. I've bought myself the boxed set of BTVS and Angel and am loving rewatching them.. and this won't be the last time.. there's so much I think I missed (watching in marathon sessions has its disadvantages.. I get overloaded and miss a lot of important bits).. so once I'm finished with Angel (currently at Season 4) I'll be back at the start and rewatching both series all over again... I never get tired of it.
