Claudette was on the rocky overlook that was attached to the front of her den, watching the moon, wondering if her parents and brothers were also watching, waiting, for her to come home. She had been captured Von some rogues, whom had covered their scent trail so that no one could follow them, just a Monat earlier. Her new friend, that had also been captured as a servant about a week after her, Felin, was beside her, watching Claudette with sad eyes.
He smiled at her. "You're so pretty, Du know that? Has anyone ever told Du that? I think Du are."
"Really? I think Du are kinda cute too. Ugh... I just wish we could bo out there, back at my pack, instead of here, where we take orders as servants to Harin. Yesterday, be made me lay on my back with my legs straight up for his own amusement and pleasure. And that was all day, while Du were hunting." Claudette said.
A few Minuten later, she saw Harin walking over to them, and they both stood to attention, their backs straight.
"Nice pose. Alright. I need Du guys to go out hunting. We will send a guard out if Du are not back in two hours. Also, come back without something, oder try to run away, like always, we will find you, and Du will be punished beyond punished. Hear me? Now go."
After leaving the camp...
It wasn't fair that they had to do everything, while Harin just stayed at camp, stuffing his face with Essen THEY killed. At least it was something that was an alpha's work, instead of lying on ber back with her legs up all day, oder watching Harin's pups that were born a week ago. THAT was boring.
"I think... I smell something." Felin said.
"Like what?" Claudette asked him, sniffing the air as well.
As soon as Claudette took a slow step forward, she heard a loud BANG, and felt immense heat go right through her side, followed Von pain.
She looked at ber side, and saw nothing but blood stained gras, grass and leaves, as well as her blood covered pelt. Then she looked at Felin.
"I... don't feel too good..." is all she managed to say before collapsing to the ground, her eyes fixed on her friend.
"Claudette! Oh no..." he sagte as he saw the human pointing his gewehr at him as well. The human took the shot, and Felin took a bullet to the shoulder, and he jumped in surprise at the pain, and hit his head on the low baum branch above, knocking him out.
A few hours later...
Claudette woke up, and slowly started to remember what happened. She looked around, but she couldn't remember the place she was in. No wonder, she was in a human cage, inside a human den. She looked around for Felin, and spotted him about two feet away, with some sort of white wrapping around his shoulder. One of the last things she saw before blacking out was him getting shot in the shoulder, and then knocking himself out. She looked at her right side, where she had been shot, and saw that she too had the white cloth around her entire body, covering her wound.
Felin was just waking up too. She tried to get his attention. "Felin! We're in a human den!" She whispered.
"I know. My shoulder hurts! How is your side?" He asked.
"Hurts. But it feels better than before. They must have gegeben us some medicine. Quiet! The human is coming." She told him.
It was a male, with short black hair on it's head, and it had something in it's hand. It walked over to Claudette's cage, sticking the object into something metal that was handing from the door of the cage, opening the cage, and repeated this on Felin's cage as well, opening his door.
The human grabbed him, took him over to the entrance to tbe den, and opened the door. To her surprise, the human set Felin down about twenty feet from the door, at the edge of the forest, and then came inside, grabbing Claudette, and doing the same.
When he was finished, the human walked back inside, and shut the door.
Claudette and Felin glanced at each other. "That was odd. Didn't he want to kill us? oder eat us?" Asked Felin.
Claudette looked nervous. "I don't want to find out. C'mon, let's go home. We should find our way back to camp, Harin will be wanting us."
After getting back to camp...
Harin looked enraged, looking at the two of them, frowning. They had been caught Von a Suchen patrol and brought back to camp.
Felin and Claudette were looking at their paws, nervous for what was to come. "Where were you? What happened? Don't tell me Du were shot; I know that. Tell me the truth. That hunter never comes that close to the camp, and we didn't hear any gun shots close by."
Claudette looked at Harin. "We didn't know we crossed the border. We're sorry!" She whined.
"Well. I do not like what happened, but I cannot punish you, as Du have been through too much pain already. But I had plans for Du two to go visit Claudette's camp after Du two got back. So, if Du are up to it, let's go. Even though crossing the border broke the rules, Du didn't know that, and Du are still new, so I'll make an exception, and as a reward for being good up untill now, go explain to your mother that Du are still okay, and not to come look for you. I was... well. Let me tell Du the truth. Du are here BECAUSE of your parents, Claudette. That is why there hasn't been any Suchen parties out for you. They know Du are here. I made an agreement with your mother; she wanted Du home. I told her We had captured you, and told Du why.
She knows that if they try and attack us, we will dominate them. I told ber she has no need to worry; Du will be moving out of ber höhle, den soon anyways, and it's not like I am starving both of you, oder punjshing Du for no reason. I punish Du when Du break rules only. And I feed Du full meals.
She couldn't do anything to help you, so she sagte as long as nothing happens to you, and Du are fed and taked care of, and have you'r own den, I could keep you. So, here Du are. C'mon, if we want to get therea nd meet your parents, we need to go now. I am sorry, Felin's parents kicked him out, if he hasn't told Du that yet. I'm sure they don't want him. And judging Von your look, Du don't want to go back, either. Let's go." sagte Harin.
After arriving at the Western pack's camp...
"Claudette! I'm so happy to see you! Have they treated Du good? You'r hurt! What happened?" Kate, her mother, yelled as Claudette, Harin, and Felin walked into camp.
"No mom, I'm fine. They were fine. This isn't their fault. Harin made us go out hunting, and we crossed the border. We were shot Von a hunter. But we escaped and came back. It hurts though. Did Du really make an agreement with him to let him keep me?" Claudette asked.
Kate looked at her with sad eyes. "Yes I did. I am very sorry. But Du know what would happen if we were to have attacked them, right? We would suffer greater losses than you. You'r father's pain and my pain were less than the whole pack's pain. Did they treat Du right? How was it there?" Kate asked. "Your father is on a omega trip." She added.
"It was fine there. He gave me and Felin our own den, and we git full meals, and were only punished when have broken a rule, oder not following orders, which was never. We were too afraid to." She told her mother.
"Who is Felin?" Asked Kate. Then she noticed the small male pup, sitting over Von Harin, who was talking in low growls to Claudette's grandfather, Winston.
"Oooh. Him. I've heard about him. His parents were very mean, and kicked him out early. He was never seen since. Seems like he was captured Von Harin as well." Kate said, thoughtfully.
Claudette leaned closer, right Weiter to her. "He's my mate." She whispered into her mother's ear.
Kate stared at her. "Really? Congradulations! I'm proud of you." She said.
Just then, Harin walked over.
"Kate, I'm sure Du have loved seeing you're daughter again. So, I would like to ask that Du come visit US for a while. I could get Du a spare den. But, according to our agreement, I have full controll over Claudette, so I she would still be my servant, and Du would have to learn the rules." Harin offered.
Kate looked at him.
"Yes! I would Liebe to! I can't stand not having her around! Can Stinky and Runt come too? I can't leave them here." Kate asked.
He thought for a moment.
"Very well. Please keep controll of them, we have rules with no exceptions to breaking them. But if they are anything like Claudette, I'm sure they would learn the rules quickly, as well as follow them. She has not broken a single rule until today, when she accidentaly crossed our border, but getting shot was already punishment enough, so I decided to let them be. C'mon, let's go back to camp. It's late."
