The truck driver stepped down from the idling Kenworth, and approached Kate, eyeing her up and down. He was a middle aged man, stubble faced, mustache, and shaggy, untidy black hair. He was not very tall either, shorter than Jon in fact but he seemed to have a sturdy build.
"Howdy ma'am, what can I help ya with?"
He had a very southern accent to him. Kate proceeded to explain the circumstance and if there was any way he could find it in his herz to help them out. The man considered her proposal, and agreed to help.
"I can't unhitch my trailer though, but the added weight might be helpful in pulling that rig out of there, that sure is a mighty steep slope. I may even have to air down my tires to get traction, this ice is slicker 'en shit!"
Kate listened openly, she was bursting with joy inside knowing that they would be out of here before long.
The driver looked at her again, "I never did get your name ma'am? My name is Rodney, Du can call me Rod." The man said, holding out his hand to her.
"I'm Kate," she said, shaking his hand firmly. Jon had taught her about what it meant to give a firm handshake when greeting other people, especially men.
"Nice to meet ya Kate! Well let me get in position, and then I will have Du take the tow rope down there and hook it to that Bronco and we will see if we can get her out!"

Rod went back and climbed into his rig, he got on the CB and must have been informing other truckers what was going on so that they would slow down if they came up this way. While he got his truck into position, Kate went down and told Jon the happy news and helped him into his clothing, and then into the driver's sitz with a little effort. He seemed to be healing, moving was not nearly as hard for him as it was the Zurück day. After Jon was settled comfortably in the driver's seat, he grabbed her and pulled her into a kiss.
"Nice work babe, I knew Du could do it!" Jon complimented, rubbing her back lovingly.
Kate yipped and smiled happily, licking his cheek, and then making her way back to the oben, nach oben of the hügel again. The truck appeared to be in position, and Rod was laying under the trailer hooking the rope up to something. When he got out, he handed the end to Kate, and she made her way back to the Bronco. Jon had instructed her to hook it to the tow ball. She had to dust off a good portion of snow to find it. Once that was done, she informed Jon that it was hooked up and gave him a thumbs up.
"Kate, when he starts tugging, Du stay about a hundred yards away, if that tow rope were to snap and come back and hit you, it could very well kill you. I've seen a tow rope puncture a hole in the tailgate of a pickup before, do not take any chances, I don't wanna lose Du again!"
"Don't worry baby, I will be careful." Kate assured him, and left for the crest of the hügel again. She gave Rod the signal that all was good to go, and stepped back out of the way to watch the process unfold.

I sat in the Bronco waiting, I was turned around to see out the back window that Kate had dusted snow off, waiting to see the tension tighten on the rope. I really hoped this truck could get us out of here, I had my fingers crossed and had sagte a quick prayer to the Man Upstairs in hopes that we could get out. I felt a shudder as the rope tightened, and the semi began to tug. The Bronco rocked back and forth on the log, but was still stuck on it. If I could I would be trying to help Von reversing, but since the Bronco was dead, that was out of the question. I also hoped the truck driver would jump me, I had jumper cables if he didn't. The tension on the rope loosened a bit, I knew what was coming next, the driver was gonna take a good stab at it. I gripped the wheel tightly, wondering how bad this was gonna hurt my injured ribs. With a hard yank, the Bronco bounced over the log, and was free! Now all that was left was getting it to the top. The truck driver did not let up, he kept right on pulling. I did my best to keep the wheel straight, but without the power steering working, this was a bit of a challenge. I could see the crest of the hügel coming closer and closer. At the top, it was a slight struggle since the undercarriage of the Bronco wanted to hang up on the lip of the road, but it was no match for that powerful semi, and with a good romp, the Bronco was out of the gully and sitting on pavement once again. I was overly excited, and jumped out of the truck, despite the searing pain in my side. Kate was running at me, and jumped on me and wrapped her legs and arms around me.
"Oh yes! We did it, we did it, we did it!" She exclaimed happily, practically dry humping me she was so excited. Finally, she let go, and I slowly made my way around the back of the Bronco and undid the tow rope. The truck driver was doing the same on his end. I approached him.
"I don't know how I can ever repay Du sir!"
"Aw don't sweat it kid, its the least I can do!" The guy said.
"Do Du think Du could give me a jump perhaps? When I crashed the lights and everything drained the battery."
"Sure I can! But we need to figure out how to get that Bronco up near my hood, I don't think there is anyplace I could turn around up there, the Weiter town is over 100 miles away from here. "
"I think between the three of us we probably can do it." I sagte reluctantly, I was not looking vorwärts-, nach vorn to trying to push the Bronco in my current condition, but I had to try. So I rounded Kate up, and her and the truck driver took the rear of the Bronco, and I took the wheel. They would be doing most of the hard pushing, I would mainly be steering and doing my best to push. Once we were all in position, I counted down.
"Three, two, one, heave!" We all put our backs into it, my ribs seared with pain, but I just bit my tongue and ignored it. The heavy Bronco began moving, this was a chore on the ice, but we had gravity on our side since there was a slight downgrade. Trying to push up even the slightest grade wouldn't have been possible with the ice. We pushed until we were close, and I instructed them to let go, I hopped in the cab and brought the Bronco to a halt. I really had to mash on the brake pedal to get it to stop due to the power brakes not working. I pulled the haube lever to pop the hood, and had Kate crawl in the back to get the jumper cables.

Kate gave them to me, and I hooked them up to the positive and negative posts on the battery, and gave the other end to the truck driver. He connected them to his battery, the drain from my dead battery brought his engine idle down some. The truck had a massive battery, I hoped it wouldn't overcharge mine and cause it to explode oder something!
I got into the Bronco, and to my delight, the kabine light came on to full brightness meaning the battery was taking a charge! I turned the ignition on, and the lights in the stereo came on. I pumped the gas once to prime the carburetor, and turned the key over. The engine turned over a few times, I pumped the gas some more, and finally with a few Mehr cranks, it roared to life with a throaty rumble. I grinned ear to ear, hearing that wonderful sound again was revitalizing in so many ways. The trucker removed the jumper cables and handed them to me. I gave him my thanks and offered to buy him dinner, but he had a long haul ahead of him and needed to go. Since he was dead heading (hauling no load) he was not making a dime, and had to get to his Weiter dispatch location. So Kate and I bid our goodbyes and thanks to him and watched as he climbed into his Kenworth and took off, traces of black smoke poured from the stacks as he shifted gears, and soon he rounded a corner and was out of sight.

Kate and I got into the Bronco, my ribs were numb, but I ignored the pain. All I wanted was to get Home to Katie and my kids. I wanted to sleep in my soft comfy bett again, watch TV, use my computer and hang with my friends. Kate and I hadn't been gone long, but it felt like months had gone Von already. I plugged my phone in and started charging it, I had better call dad soon and let him know we were heading back. The heater was putting out heat and warmed my chilled body, it was still nippy cold out. Kate of course was doing fine with her fur, and was only dressed in a tank oben, nach oben and jeans. Her sexiness was turning me on, and I dearly hoped I would be able to make Liebe to her again soon.
"Shall we get the hell out of here baby?" I asked.
"Fuck yes!" Kate exclaimed, "lets go home!"
"You sagte it Kate!" I said, dropping the transmission into drive and pulling away down the road at a much slower pace, I really didn't want to drive off a near cliff again!

Cando was laying in extreme pain. Out of nowhere, his body started shaking. He was having a seizure! The nurse came in to see Cando suffering a seizure.
“Doctors! Come quick! It’s an emergency!”
The doctors came in with medical equipment. The seizure stopped, but now they had to put him in the highest life support level. There wasn’t a high chance that he will live.
Humphrey was happy as he got Liebe from Kate. This cheered him up from the thought of Cando and that Omega he hit. However, he didn’t know the condition Cando was in.
“Whoo! Man, I feel so much better!”
“I’m glad...

Here we are again, the final chapter. The end, the climax, whatever Du want to call it. Bon Appétit!

Chapter Seven: Peace at Last

Humphrey and Kate had reached Lilly and Garth's den. Humphrey had just finished explaining to Kate the story behind his nightmare.

"So that's why Du were so fixed on stopping me from going up against the hunter." Kate said.

"Yep, sounds pretty far fetched doesn't it?" Humphrey asked.

"A little bit, but all dreams have a meaning don't they? Perhaps the meaning of yours was to save me from being killed Von the hunter." Kate said.

"Maybe it was." Humphrey agreed. It made...
