In the Weiter morning, the five teenagers went out to find Dr. Delusion's lair wearing their disguises again. While walking, they observed the current happenings in the city square. It seems that, after the locals and students read the booklets that they left last night, they realized the booklets were telling the truth and that the "mayor" was really a mad scientist who brainwashed them into giving up their personalities. They were still unaware of who wrote them, though. Everyone was now angry and demanding that the "mayor" should resign. They shouted and held placards that read, "LIAR!", "GET OUR PERSONALITIES BACK RIGHT NOW!", and "YOU FOOLED US!" Alice whispered to the others, "It looks like our plan is working, guys." Rosie replied, "Oh, yes. It certainly is." "...And I think it's good that we are going to surprise them Von defeating Dr. Delusion, re-programming the strahl, ray Gun of Sameness, and using it to bring back their personalities!" Added Nicholas. After almost an Stunde of walking, the teenagers found themselves in the outskirts and were surprised when they saw a bizarre looking building nearby. Scruffy said, "This must be Dr. Delusion's lair." Buzzy replied, "I think so, too." When they got closer, they noticed that the main door was barred with red laser poles and a flashing sign that says, "DO NOT ENTER". However, that didn't stop the Merida - Legende der Highlands teenagers as they brought a rope ladder. One Von one, they climbed up into Dr. Delusion's bedroom. The personality thief was still asleep when they snuck to get the strahl, ray gun from his laboratory. His heavy snoring made it hard for him to hear the footsteps. The teenagers quietly and slowly re-programmed the strahl, ray Gun of Sameness to the strahl, ray Gun of Individuality Von transferring the stolen personalities from the experiment beakers to an empty glass jar and then inserting it into the device. They also removed the equal sign stamper. Finally, they placed it into Alice's backpack and quickly exited the lair. The teenagers all breathed a big sigh of relief once they got back down to the grassy meadows. Rosie exclaimed, "We did it! We got the strahl, ray gun and the stolen personalities without waking Dr. Delusion up." Nicholas replied, "Yes! Now, the only thing that we need to do is to shoot these personalities back to their owners!" "That's right!" Remarked Alice. "That mean old scientist will never stop us, either!" Blurted Scruffy. They returned to the city feeling very delighted and untroubled.
