KataraLover picked Aschenputtel III: A Twist in Time:
BY FAR! It's a fantastic movie that has an original idea for a Disney sequel and most importantly expands upon the characters. That (along with continuing the story) is the purpose of a sequel (aside from cash grab)! I love how they expanded upon Cinderella, Anastasia, Charming, and The King. They even did something like Avatar: The Last Airbender did and did an amazing relationship between two characters you'd NEVER expect to interact with, Anastasia Tremaine and The King. Plus, I think they made Lady Tremaine even more evil and creepy and an overall better villain (though she was already great) in this movie than in the original. I could go on about this movie FOREVER!

Bambi 2 on the other hand, while not a bad movie, isn't really all that great. I mean, don't get me wrong, this isn't really a bad concept. His life after his mother's death and before he's grown up is a concept with a lot of potential. Plus I have to say that this is the most GORGEOUS looking direct-to-video Disney Sequel that I've EVER seen! However the humor is REALLY FORCED and they have the one-dimensional bully (WORST CLICHE EVER. Those are two really major problems. I mean, they took a character from the original (Ronno), while not very interesting, that was very intimidating and badass into an annoying as hell, dumbass, and whiny one-dimensional bully. Plus I think they could've gone into Bambi and his father's relationship when Bambi becomes a teenager and have him become an adult at the end. Yes, I know they don't have the budget of Walt Disney Animation Studios but it's a movie that needs to be longer (among all the other sequels). Plus why have a "death scene" for Bambi? Why do that in a prequel or midquel? WE KNOW THEY'LL LIVE! THEY'RE ALIVE IN THE ORIGINAL, SO WE KNOW THEY'LL LIVE! But the animation is gorgeous, the characters (aside from Ronno) stay true to themselves, it has some good emotions, the relationship between Bambi and his dad is great, Faline isn't annoying and is actually pretty likable, Bambi is more interesting, and the father has more of a character. Not nearly as good as the original, but I do still kind of like it, it's a mildly good movie.

I've never seen Bambi II, so Cinderella III: A Twist in Time wins by default. Bambi II does seem interesting, though.
