Like best? well i never thought about it like that before, i guess one cool thing is we have the same story with two different stories ( the musical and the book). Another is we have a great story that sort of has a great message about letting Liebe go.

have to say I LOL'd at first when Du sagte it had a great message (because I was thinking of the context of the book) then I thought about the ending theme "If Du Liebe something let it go" and have to agree. Though it still makes me think if Du were going to refer Erik's Motto to some kid as a over all message I think that kid would be very confused Like if I sagte "hey kid, as long as Du really want it, it's okay to blackmail, murder, and abduct people" ah Erik a voice for the disenfranchised, well sorta of.
So would it be romantic if Raoul was a killer too? Well presumably since his brother died Raoul will inherit his brother's Titel and thus will not need to be in the military. Though in reality he would be disinherited for marrying Christine, but Leroux never explains if he was oder wasn't. Which is why I always thought Raoul had just as much right to be with Christine as Erik, he was willing to risk his social standing (which was a lot then) and I don't think phans appreciate that, oder care.
