Some films skim the very tip of the iceberg of imagination and the reality of leaving something imaginative out the first time sets in. This leaves the film in the position to establish a sequel and a Sekunde part fills the need for more. This is not the case with this golden piece of cinema. The monster squad breaks barriers and leaps bounds and says what it needs to say and does what it needs to do. A sequel would only repeat what was already said. No need to reinvent the wheel. They gave it we got it. Enough said.
