Here's a boring answer: The pre-frontal cortex, which is the part of the brain that is the sitz of "higher judgment", is not fully developed until a person is about 23. Which is not to say that Du are a slave to every impulse that crosses your mind, it's just that Du may not immediately consider the consequences of your actions.

Anyway, we all know adults who don't exactly behave in a mature fashion, so it's not the whole answer.

Uuuhhhh I dunno???? Maybe it's because when you're a teen Du actually notice Du CAN drink, smoke, have sex, etc. (maybe not stealing though, I don't know anyone who does/did that) and so Du want to try everything because it's new but when Du get older and closer to become an adult, it's not new anymore so Du ''calm down'' I guess...

i am a teen as of yesterday... so...... idk.... people have minds of their own. if they want to ruin their lives it's really up to them..... that's all i can say... so enjoy this picture.

cause it makes us look cool to others and some people, personally i dont look cool in the first place so i dont think trying to smoke and coughing and hacking would really help anything... but some people do. and as far as partying goes, people want to take advantage of their youth and because we wont get to party so much later in life, we try to cram as much in as possible. and sex. well alot of times its pressure from others and alot of times Du think youre desperately in Liebe oder whatever an Du HAVE to have sex (i mean i have Friends who are like this. they think itll make their relationship stronger oder something like that). and as far as stealing goes i have no fucking idea. i go to school with people who steal and boast about it so my best guess is it might be something like Wird angezeigt off. but really stealing is so fucking stupid, i dont really understand why idiots do it...

I'm a teen and I have never tried any of that stuff. I usually think things through and I don't fall under peer pressure. I don't know why other teens do it, I've asked myself the same question. I guess it depends on the teen and their family..

its because our brains aren't fully developed yet they usually develop around the ages of 14-24. So that means that we do stuff like Steal, Smoke, Lie, Skip, Sex. Also we look at mostly our parents and what they do and if we have good parents that probably means that we are better behaved than people who's parents aren't that good at parenting. oder Du have a older brother oder sister who are also in their teens so Du think that it is ok to do all of the stuff that they do because they are the older role model.
