I've never been there, so......But it probably looks like what's in the toilet after an old man gets done with it.

I tend to like Dante Alighieri's interpretation of hell. There are several circles of hell and each is a different environment and each kreis respresents a different sin.

Its that thingy that comes to visit u once a month. i call it the curse :P

Hell is nothingness. Hell is lossing everything, your spirit, your love, your memories. It's drifting through darkness and light. It's not being able to think, to see, to breathe. It's being conscious but at the same time being unconscious. It's pain, it's peace, it's clear but it's murky. It's like waking up with no memory and having scary faces surrounding your own. It's nothing.

I believe that if there is a place of eternal damnation, it is different for every individual. For some people hell is isolation, and for others it is other people, which means that people find pain and pleasure in different things.
I don't think that heaven and hell would be all clouds and fire, because everyone has a certain ideal place of serenity and punishment.
