HELP! I can't beat Lance in Heart-Gold!

Du should whammy his team with a whole bunch of ice Pokemon.

Whoah! Your party is similar to mine when i beat Lance o.O. Du know why he's so hard? Because he has three dragonites. And they're all based around 3 different elements: fire, thunder, and ice. Focus on taking those 3 dragonite down and Du will win

Dragon and ice type moves do good agenst Dragon types. u must also considder that some of his pokemon might not b fully dragon, and u can us that as an advantige and use the other part's weakness.

First,level up your pokemon some more(i beat him and stuff,so this is what i did on soulsilver)gets some ice pokemon too,so there is a weakness.Then,buy some items so then Du wont run out while battling,then,go and fight ;)

get some good ice tms oder pokemon but i dont get how yu Lost in the first place with that lv.64 typhlosion

First time I beated him was when all my pkmn died and my sneseal beated his 75 dragonite AND garchomp, both died with two ice shards!

its that togapi and donphan, they r to low level, oder just teach ur togapi metronome, he should use an attack that is his pokemon's weakness.

I train my pokemon extra before I fight him . He has one Gyarados, so use on Electric and a few Ice .

Oh ! Use Rotom !! If Du change it into half Ice and half Electric, Du can surely beat him !! And Rotom is kinda fast, so Du get to hit them before he does .

well if Du want to beat lances dragon Pokemon Du should go to the ice path and catch some ice pokemon.

I have a trick to pokemon games. I only focus on 2 pokemon for the entire game and use the rest as sacrifices....I am cruel to my pokemon yes....

My advice....Ice beam! When ice beam user faints, Use your others to revive and restore.

Du need a pokemon like 4 example, feraligatr that knows how to use ice fang that is atleast lv. 64 oder above and lugia atleast lv. 56 oder higher only that was my team when i defeated lance. good luck! oder atleast try any ice type, electric, dragon oder water!

What u could do:
1: Get a few Pokemon that dragOn moves can't hurt it that well and fight w/ those
2: Get a pokemon that knows a good ice oder dragon Bewegen to beat his Drachen down (it would be even better if this Pokemon had a fairly high special defense)
