I wake up to the sound of Nana barking. When i look towards her I see the most amazing sight! Peter Pan! 
He was standing in mid-air! I slowly got out of bett so I wouldn't scare Peter. "hello" Peter turned around and nearly jumped. "what's wrong?" Peter just smiled at me. "Nothing, its just I never knew a girl could be this amazing up close" "oh" I smiled. "what are Du doing here in the first place, Peter?" Peter sat cross-legged in mid-air. "to hear your stories of course!" "really?" He nodded. "yup they're the best!" "Peter it thrills me that Du like my stories, so much...

I wake up to the sound of Nana barking. When i look towards her I see the most amazing sight! Peter Pan!
I would imagine that Peter used to be a bit easier to reach and Mehr outgoing. However, this could have resulted in him going and trying to talk to people that were not particularly firm believers and having them potentially freak out. I mean, if Du just did some little thing like sing a song Von your window and all of a sudden some seemingly Zufällig boy came flying in with a little fairy and Du were not a 100% believer Du would probably freak out. This probably lead to some people panicking oder even maybe doing things like screaming oder even running away when Peter came.
Think about it from his point of view, if people are sometimes scared when Du come, wouldn't Du want to make sure that Du can really trust them before Du do? That is possibly why it takes a bit of time for Peter to come to people.
Remember, have faith and trust and he'll bring the pixie dust.
