It is altogether the best. I despise the one from 1971. The 2007 version was a very bold adaptation but I liked it. The two main characters were well cast in that version but not as good as Ciaran hinds and Amanda Roots.

I really did like the 2007 version, except for when they were doing all the running around. I thought it unnecessary and distracting.

The 2007 was SO my favourite. The actors did SUCH a good job; they portrayed the characters exactly as i had imagined them. While i did think it was MUCH too short, i am SO going to buy it. It was just the BEST!!
