Well, I only vote Republican, so I would need some more information if this was a real election. But seeing as this is not a real election, I chose Skipper quite easily.

I’ve thought a little more about this since I made my pick of Skipper two weeks ago, and I’ve concluded that every good president needs a good vice president. Thus, Kowalski should be elected vice president.

Actually, I can’t leave it at just that. I know that this pick is all for fun, but I need to cite the U.S. Constitution on an important requirement.

While 2012 is the next U.S. Presidential Election (I’m assuming that the word “president” used here implies one being elected President of the United States), I do not believe that Skipper (nor Kowalski, for that matter) would qualify for said office at that time on account of age. One needs to be 35 years old to be elected president (or vice president, as the VP needs to be able to assume the office), and I personally believe that Skipper is only 20 and Kowalski is only 18. So, on that note …

Skipper-Kowalski 2028! (Skipper would qualify alone in 2024, but he’d have to wait four more years if he wants Kowalski for a running mate.)

Sorry for such a long comment, but I hope you all got a chuckle out of it. I just felt that I had to do it, as I have read and appreciate the U.S. Constitution, vote in each election, and have even been recruited to work at the polls in November’s municipal election in my city.
