How many similarities from the TV series were in the movie?

I have only seen a few episodes of the series, but I was wondering if anyone who has seen a lot of episodes know how similar it is to the movie oder even the similarities to how the penguins were in the Madagascar movies. The only similarities that I've seen is the fact they plugged Private to a machine to use his cuteness as power in both the film and episode (although they used it for different reasons) and then how Skipper also wanted Private to just be cute in the first Madagascar movie when he told Kowalski and Rico to actually do something (and Skipper told Private to just be cute and put on a mermaid costume in the POM movie as well).

Are there any other similarities that Du guys know of?

Well, there weren't many connections to the series because, as stated Von the producers, the movie and Zeigen are in no way connected (like "alternate universes"). But there were a couple of references, like when Skipper called Dave, "Doris," and that Rico could schlucken a lot of different objects in his gut (which wasn't showcased much in the three "Madagascar" movies). That's all I can think of.

I guess there's the similarity of Kowalski being the pinguin to fall head-over-heels for the girl. It seems his character is very prone to a pretty face. :')
