Merlin in der BBC Frage

Can Du truly Bewegen pass what Du have not forgiven?

Can Du truly Bewegen pass what Du have not forgiven?
Arthur: Guinevere
Guinevere: Du do not have to say anything
Arthur: What ever has happened between us
Guinevere: Arthur, please I cannot forgive myself
Arthur: I don't care.. I just know that I do not want to be without Du

Does this mean all is well, oder does this mean I can't live without Du even though I know that Du wronged me? The pain of being without Du is Mehr than I can stand. Do Du truly see forgiveness and Arthur moving on without the enchantment reveal? Or, do Du see angst coming our way the Minute a handsome man takes an interest in Guinevere?

This is part of not having the enchantment reveal that bothers me. I replayed that scene in my head and it dawned on me that basically Arthur does not want to lose Guinevere. She is his first Liebe and his only Liebe as Morgana sagte in 4x9. She sagte many tried to win the hand of King Arthur but it was Gwen that won his heart. Arthur does not want to be alone without Guinevere. He loves here too much but truly how can he Bewegen so quickly from saying whatever he cherished about her, everything that they had is gone, to that statement above. I know that he watched Isolde die but his core is trust. He has proved it throughout all of the seasons from Uther, to Morgana, and to Aggravaine. Also to Guinevere. Can we truly see forgiveness without the reveal. I think the twist that the producers were talking about points to this. That heartache even though they did not break up for good will go into season 5. In the legends the truth about Guinevere's Liebe for Lancelot came out while her and Arthur were still married. The twist was they were not married and they were enchanted. Without the reveal I think there is going to be a bumpy road ahead if anyone takes interest in Gwen. Seeing those episodes where Arthur was jealous will not hold a candle to the jealousy that we will see without the enchantment reveal. How do Du guys see this playing out?

i completely agree with everything Du have said, and i don't think this is a story line we have seen the end of yet. but i do believe that Arthur knows how much Gwen regrets what happened and is willing to forget about it. unless something happens to bring it up again, like Du sagte with there being another man interested in her. but that wont be as easy as it was in the past since their relationship is open and obviously Gwen is Queen now. Arthur has shown many times in the past that he would do anything for her and loves her Mehr than anything, so much so that i believe he can forgive and forget Gwens betrayal and Bewegen on. as long as nothing tries to stand in their way...

To this Tag it bothers me tremendously that the enchantment was never revealed. The use of magic is the one known thing that can over power the mind of any human man oder woman and without Arthur ever knowing that Gwen was not Gwen herself when she cheated on him with Lancelot forever creates this idea that she was weaker than he in her own non-magical mental human conviction of their love, weaker than his conviction of their Liebe as the mighty powerful morally-superior white man (trope). Even if Arthur himself never "uses this against her" Von active choice, the fact that he could use it against her because he is unaware of the enchantment.... bothers me tremendously. I feel like it's pandering to the patriarchy. In a Zeigen that had a lot stuff going for it in terms of strong female characters somehow it managed to fall equally short if that make any sense.
