I think that some people will get off the island, but only later in the season. Those people will be Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Ben, Claire, and Aaron. Kate will be living with Sawyer, and Claire and Aaron will be doing fine. But Ben will have die because his tumor came back when he left the island (he will be in that coffin). Jack will realize that Ben was right, and that they need to stay on the island. They will have made some bargain with the ship people, and they will need to get back and save their friends. Jack will take Claire and maybe Michael back with him to stop the ship people.

Yeah, I like all this, but I'm pretty sure it's not Ben in the coffin - the newspaper article says something along the lines of "John Lantham".

As long as Kate is with Sawyer the rest is just fine by me ;)
