I think he respected him, I don't think they were best buds or anything. I just believe that Snape would have to have some level of respect to do what he did for Dumbledore.

He helped the Order like he did for Lily and he had to respect Dumbledore enough to follow his plan to help Harry, but I don't think they were exactly friends

Maybe he was not absolutely aware of it at all times, but I think he actually liked Dumbledore. He was the only person who really knew him, the only person he could talk to freely and the one who helped Snape back to the good side and protected him from getting into Azkaban. I don't believe all this is possible without getting to like somebody, at least deep down.

He respected and liked Dumbledore. He would not have asked for Dumbledore's help or listened to his advice if he didn't respect him and he wouldn't have gotten angry or found it so difficult to kill Dumbledore if he didn't like him.

I agree with nene. If he didn't respect Dumbledore, he wouldn't have blindly followed Dumbledore's orders during HBP. He also said as much to Bella when she visited him along with Narcissa.

The reason why I think he also liked Dumbledore is because Dumbledore had to plead with Snape to kill him. If Snape didn't care about Dumbledore, he wouldn't have had any issues with casting the Avada
