Do Du remember how did Du get your first Harry Potter book? How was started your Potteromania??

Well, I didn't always Liebe Harry Potter. I used to hate it. I don't even know why I did. Go ahead, call me stupid, I don't mind. I call myself stupid for not giving the Bücher a chance. I am kinda mad with myself for not lettting these Bücher be apart of my childhood. And, I also want to go back in time and slap myself. Anyways, one day, when I was twelve, I was super bored. I decided to ask my brother if I could borrow the first book, and ever since then, I was hooked! In fact, this was about a week after I started hating Twilight! :D

At my old school, they gave out three badges (behaviour, effort and courtesy) per class each week. I didn't get these too often (fun fact: I spent five years at that school and never got the courtesy badge), but every now and then I managed to pull myself together... I got my copy of The Philosopher's Stone in October 2003, when I'd finally managed to make an effort big enough to earn a badge for it.
I read it that night, and the rest of history.

I started Lesen Harry Potter when my brother persuaded me to. I was about 9 and my brother was like 13 and I didn't know because it was so long for me but before long I was in Liebe with it!!

Yes. my literature sagte me that this book is important to read for our class after two weeks.
But at the begin i sagte , noo teacher i hait this book. I enjoyed it because was very interesint and adoralbe

Got it for my birthday got into it because of Bellatrix.

i was 8 and my mom read all of them before i did.i was ill and bored and i actually got my mom the hell on the nerves because i didn`t know what to do.and she told me to read it.so i began and i couldn`t stop.and since then...<3
it may sound a little crazy but i must say that these Bücher really changed my life.

Wow, I'm the only one who got into it just last year.
So, ever since I can remember, every time Harry Potter was mentioned, my sis would say it was terrible, so I never read oder watched it, so I grew up hating it, not even knowing what I was hating. So last year, after Lesen like half the bibliothek and I was running out of good Bücher to read, I decided to pick up Philosopher's Stone, but i quit after one page, but I still gave it a chance, seeing as I downloaded the movie, and after watching I read the Sekunde book, and after that I was officially hooked! And now I curse myself for being such an idiot and follower, and of course I annoy my sis Von talking about Harry Potter all the time

I find it very sad that I can't pinpoint the particular moment I became hooked :( All I remember is that my dad and I started to read them a little while after they came out and we fell in love

I got the Chamber of Secrets on Easter when I was 7 (1st grader Lesen Harry Potter:P). I read the book, became obsessed with the first two movies, read the first book, and then read the first, Sekunde again, third, and then I believe I had to wait for the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th Bücher to come out.

My mum's friend was a Potterhead and I was tired, so at the age of 7, of going to her house and drinking from glasses without knowing what Quiditch, Nimbuses, Gryffindor was, oder Harry himself actually, so I asked my mum to read the first book to me. Then the second...

The rule was that I had to read the book with her once, then while she'd read to me the Weiter book I read the one before on my own again, then I could watch the movie. That's how its always been except for the 7th because I'd have read it 5 times on my own even if it wasn't a condition to see the movie, so...

I got the PS and the CoS for Weihnachten the Jahr the Sekunde book came out. I've always liked to read and my aunt has often been my supplier for good Bücher :)

My parents really liked the book, and they let me read it at the end of Sekunde grade. Actually, my mom read the chapters to me, and until about the Halloween chapter, I listened carefully. Theeeen, I started Lesen ahead. Secretly. But, I guess my mom knew about it, so she told me to finish the rest of the Bücher (book 6 had just come out). And so, gentle reader, that is how my Pottermania began. . . ^.^

I actually didn't know what HP was until I was 8, when I saw a Vorschau for the 1st movie at the movie theater [I saw "Antlantis"] At first I didn't care too much to see it even though my Mom did. So on January 3, 2002, we went to see The Sorcerer's Stone... and my life has changed ever since. Du would think that an 18 Jahr old girl like me would be over something like this in a few years, but no. I never gave up on Harry and I never will til the Tag I die.

My gosh, so freaking long time ago! But I remember, of course. :)
That was 21st March, I was about 9 years old, and I went with my sister to a library, because she told me about HP and I was so interested. So, I get three first books, and read this fast, and I totally fell in Liebe with this series.
That's part of my life, part of me forever. <3

I got hooked 4 years ago, when I was 12.. Before that, I hated Harry Potter xD I know it's stupid, but I watched the Sekunde movie when I was 6 oder so.. and it freaked me out =P So I never wanted to watch oder read HP, until I was bored during my summer holiday.. and that was my very interesting story =D

The Philosopher's Stone I've got on my bookshelf is not the first copy of the first book that my mum, my brother and I had. My mum having heard that there was going to be a film based on the Harry Potter Bücher decided to buy the first book so we sat down to read it the first night we got it my mum read and my brother and I listened at first I didn't know what to think as I didn't really understand most of it (I was only eight and now I absolutely Liebe Harry Potter). I don't know what happened but that copy got a bit ripped so we had to buy another one and that's the copy I've got now. My mum then got me one of the audiobooks read Von Stephen Fry and after weeks of listening to the audiobook I remembered that my mum had bought some of the Harry Potter Bücher and then the rest was history I was hooked on Harry, Ron and Hermione and their many adventures together!:)

I asked for it after I was dragged to the theater to see HP2. (I refused to see the 1st 1 when it came out; i thought it was 4 kids). I came Home and watched the 1st movie then I wanted to read the Bücher so I asked for the 1st one that Easter.

Oh I remember it well. I was really small and the Bücher one and two had already been published. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was the first "real" book I ever read, followed Von the Sekunde (obviously), but my real HerryPottermania started when I began the Prisoner of Askaban. It was the first of the series that I read without watching the movie (which hadn't come out yet) and DAMN how I loved it. After that, well, Harry Potter Bücher were pretty much my life, along with the Filme =D

When I was about 4 and my bro was in Middle school, he would rent the first book from his school bibliothek and read it to me.... Funny thing is; I used to call my fav character, Severus, "Snake" instead of "Snape"... my bro would explain to me he was helping Harry; and he made me think Mcgonagall was evil xP and now I think I'm into HP because of Severus Snape XD <3

the first HP book I had was the last one (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,now I have this and the 3rd book) I almost cried when I saw it (of happiness :D)I went Home and I read it and read that,that I forgot about TV!!! my Pottermania began when I saw the first HP movie!!!

My sister gave me the Sekunde book when i was 9 as a Weihnachten gift.When i read the last one i thought it was time to read the first book as well.By now i think i've read all Bücher way too many times.After Harry Potter,reading is my favourite hobby.

I can truly remember that day, I was 6, it was my birthday...and then when I woke up, all the Harry Potter's Bücher were there in the side table. I am a big Harry Potter Fan since I can remember...it is, since I can read <3

:) I may be in the minority, but my first Sorcerer's Stone wasn't actually the book, I think this was sometime either before oder after the 6th movie came out, but I was doing homework, procrastinating, and was also on Youtube. I wanted to see what all the hype was about, and was bored with what I was doing.
It had me from the first sentence, I've listened to all of the Harry Potter audios, my preferred reader being Stephen Fry. :) I'm currently in the process of Lesen them, and it's still wonderful, all I need is Half Blood Prince and I'll have all seven books! :D
Found Deathly Hallows, (hardcover!) in mint condition at a garage sale for a very low price. :D (But now I'm just bragging.)

When Harry Potter first started getting popular, my mom bought Sorcerer's Stone for my brother. He didn't like it so she read it to me, I was three oder four at the time. At five I read my first Harry Potter book Von myself and I've been Lesen ever since.

well i was scared of it when i was in 4th because it was so big but in 5th i went in the bibliothek and took the book and started loving it! people call me Mrs.Harry Potter. i was like that's Ginny's name!! lol! :P

For some reason, I never got interested in big series until all of them were out. That happened with Harry Potter. Pirates fo the Caribbean, Percy Jackson, ectera. Anyways, it was around fourth grade, and I didn't have any Friends at all. I was so lonely. So one Tag I went up to some kids playing some Harry Potter game outside at recess. They were Schauspielen out a Qudditch game, and it sounded fun, so I joined them. They introduced me to Harry Potter, and I found the first book at the back of the class and I was hooked immediatly. At first my Favorit character was Ginny, but I evventually started to Liebe Hermione. Needless to say, those Friends that introduced me to Harry Potter are now my best friends!

I remember my older sister buying it from the Bücher store when I was around 9 oder 10, and she actually read it first and sagte after that it was really good. After that, I read it and I realized that I liked it too. Now me and my sister are proud Potterheads.

I actually got my first Harry Potter book, The Goblet of Fire, from my preacher. My church I used to go to was having a yard sale and he was selling Bücher for 50 cents. Can Du believe that he would sell a Harry Potter book for 50 cents!! It was brand new too! But that's how I got my first HP book.

I remember every time a new Harry Potter movie came out, my dad would get the DVD. I was 1 Jahr old when the first book came out, so Du can see how i didnt read it imedeatly, lol. I was pretty young and not really interested in that kind of serious stuff. when the third one came out, me my brother and my sister were arguing with my dad saying that they were stupid and to stop getting them because we never even touched them (you can see how i regret that now) and he would always say that everybody loved them and that we should give them a chance (even though he'd never watched them before). I think it was 2007, oder some Jahr close to that, when my uncle, who was a huge Potterhead, starting telling us the stories aloud, no book, when we visited Lebanon during the summers. after 2 summers, i couldnt stand it anymore and went to the bibliothek and got the first 4 books. and ever since then, i have been an all-out, seriously devoted, totally obsessed POTTERHEAD!!!
