What Do Du Think: A Soapbox on the Importance of Commenting

    I try to add a lot of quality content to this site, and I would like to think I succeed. However, there is no way to know for sure without your help. A Frage that constantly plagues my mind is, "What do Du think?"
    There are a couple of different ways to let people know what Du think about their content. One is rating, which is definitely the most concise way to Zeigen your feelings. However, sometimes just rating isn't enough to get your point across especially if the rating is unusually low.

I made a new spot about anything. The Motto is "This spot is about anything that's important to you". It just came to me when I was hanging out with my friend James (WWEchamp) and I realized, I thought it would be cool if I could put anything I wanted on one spot. I thought it would be cool to just do anything I wanted to add. NO LIMITS! so I made a spot called the anything spot. So Du if Du want to Du can now add no specific content. Movies, Sports, Politics,
TV shows, cooking, add anything Du want. If Du think i'm sounding like an a-hole right now that's your opinion, but I think I really have a good thing going here. So please take a look at the anything spot if your even romotely intrested at all.

It's Already Been A Year!

I wasn't sure where to post this Artikel so I decided to put it on this spot.

One Jahr ago, the lives of many people around the world (especially of the people in Quebec) were turned upside down because of the death of Anastasia De Sousa. She was an innocent victim of the shooting that occurred at Dawson College in Montreal, Quebec exactly one Jahr Vor on September 13th, 2006. I just wanted to give her one moment of silence on this very sad anniversary and I was hoping Du would all Mitmachen me in this. I was completely devastated when I first heard the tragic news about this shooting last year...

Petty Ratings

I have noticed recently that ratings on very great material are extremly low. I can understand Videos that are of poor quality but Links like IMDb oder fansites are being rated as low. These are what I have been calling "petty rates". If Du have a problem with someone on Fanpop don't take it out on their ratings. Add your own content that Du think is better.

When Du write a soapbox oder find a great image, it can be really disappointing to get a low rating. Personally, it makes me not want to add content. Why spend so much time adding great content when people are going to rate is so low and...

Rising Stars

I'm just here to tell Du about a new spot I made. It's called the rising stars spot. For musicians and groups who have a good sound to their music. a good example would be one republic. So if Du know some kind of artist that Du think should be heard post something about them on this spot.I personally like a band called The Hush Sound. They are an indie rock band who songs are joy to my ears. I put some of their songs on the spot check them out. And remember there will always be a new hit artist.

First of all, I would like to ask why people keep giving Kathiria82 a hard time? None of Du have any reason to keep hating on her. she is a nice person and cares about everyone. This was originally going to be an Artikel on all sorts of hatred, discrimination and prejudice. But then I had something horrible happen to me online this morning, and I decided that I was going to focus on one, simple, hate.

Homophobia.

This topic may already exist as a soapbox but I have to say that things on certain spots seem to being rated one star, sterne CONSTANTLY. People have complained in Foren on Mehr than one occasion, no Fan would rate something one star, sterne if they liked the subject the spot was dedicated to, has anyone else noticed this on any spots?

It happens on the One baum hügel spot, and others related to it, I'm sure that someone else is really annoyed about this!! It is really childish! Sometimes it is pages of content all rated one star, sterne and somehow I feel convincedthat it is NOT a coincidence!!!

Okay, this has been brewing in me for a while and I think that now is the time to bring it all out into the open.... I speak of the burgeoning conflict that is the rating-to-comment ratio.

Lets break this down; On numerous occasions, I have added various Links to many different sites, and always venture back to see what people think of the link, oder their reaction to it (be that positive, negative, oder even criticism towards me). But over the last few months it has become increasingly obvious that people are rating the link, but leaving no comment!

So you've stumbled upon Fanpop because Du were Googling oder clicked on a link somewhere. The Weiter thing Du know Du start joining a few spots that you're a Fan of...then Mehr spots...and even Mehr spots. For spots Du can't find, Du might even start creating new spots.
