What happened to Fanpop :(

Not as many people find the website fun anymore, it has become kind of boring as Du can see.
I'm sure the reason not a whole lot of people get on anymore is because they either got tired of being here, oder they decided to switch to Facebook oder some other social website.

This website is kind of dead :( it's not as beliebt now, it pulled a MySpace on us >_>

maybe Fanpop seem dead to Du but why dont Du start and make it alive again Von telling people about this awesome site i started doing that will Du start too ?

This site is dying because of the lazy fans, I mean, now almost nobody contributes, oder write comments, oder anything, at least not as before....

1. All my contributions disappeared
2. I won't let me post photos
3. It's messed up!

Penguins of Madagascar Fans haven't stopped talking much, I think it depends what fanclub.They mostly talk to each other on other Fans walls and not the fanclub.

I miss the old Fanpop as well.
I used to be online for a very long time but now I don't visit the site that often.
A couple of years ago, the people were much Mehr nice and mature.
it seems like only little girls who are too young are on here talking about my little pony.

I'm sorry to hear that FanPop is no longer active. I know it's unlikely that my Kommentar will be responded to, but Du are correct. According to Google, FanPop is inactive, and will remain so as power outages are getting worse. This may have nothing to do with why FanPop is inactive. Have a nice day. -Ava

well i still go on Fanpop every time i'm on my laptop computer so i don't have many Friends on here.

Site slowly died out because of poor moderation. Like I stuck around for a while but got sick of the uselessness of the blocking system and how this dude was able to harass myself and a few others relentlessly.

Now I just pop in whenever I think of the site.

I think a lot of it is cyclical. People leave Fanpop and the Clubs get less active, which makes other people get bored here and they too leave. It also seems less interactive - people post content but they're less likely to Kommentar on oder Fan stuff than they used to. It varies from club to club though - a lot of the MCU Clubs are pretty active (in terms of getting new content, anyway) but most other fandoms I'm in have Clubs where I'm the only one adding content.

Another reason for people leaving could be the glitches. They sometimes take a while to get corrected and they could irritate people enough to make them choose to leave. Also, people could just be too busy to come onto Fanpop regularly, and then they just forget about it and Bewegen on to other interests.
