Aschenputtel has ALWAYS been my favorite...that was the first movie ever purchased for me! Everytime I see her I feel like a little girl again! She is very near and dear to my herz <333
Aschenputtel is my favorite. She has the motivation to always work hard and to try and please those, who like to micro-manage her life and make it a miserable existence. Even though is a depressing existence, she has her hopes that someday the "opportunity" will present itself and she is prepared. She is strong, determined, intelligent, able to see the good in others, is motivated and a motivator. Most of all, she has a true beauty inside and outside, which comes from her heart. IOW: she has all of the traits that would apply to the modern emancipated woman to help her to survive in whatever field she chooses, and overcome the glass ceiling. On the other hand, Snow White is the stereotypical view of a woman from a man's point of view. She keeps busy with domestic duties, does not appear to be much Mehr than eye candy, and waits for her true Liebe to take her away and provide for her.
