Definitely! Though Belle and Aladdin are cunning and quick-witted, they make wrong decisions many times, such as going inside the West Wing or lying to Jasmine.

and Aladdin. Belle is smart but she's nothing special in the intelligence department.

I wouldn't call Mulan intelligent,she ran away from home and all. But! I'd call her brave. Aladdin is also not all that smart because he tried to be someone he's not to impress the princess. So that only leaves Belle.

I don't see Mulan as being necessarily smart; she's quick-thinking no doubt, but I don't know if that translates as intelligent per se. I'm going with Belle.

How is quick thinking not intelligent? How would you define intelligent then? Aladdin has that whole thing where he outsmarts the genie- it's pretty smart. Mulan too, thinks of shooting at the top of the mountain to crush the Huns.

Mulan is brave but I wouldn't consider her as smart I feel Belle is more intelligent than the other two.

I agree with liongking artist, but that isn't really a sign of un-intelligence as much as it is a mistake due to insecurity. Belle is pretty wise- mostly- her her intelligence is always wildy exaggerated JUST for reading (never mind that we already know Cindy, Aurora, Ariel, Mulan, Rapunzel, and Tiana can too) and being a special snowflake portrayed as being way smarter than the town.

Belle isn't really smart as she is a bookworm. Aladdin is clever, but he gets himself into an awful lot of messes. Then again so does Mulan. So I think it's between Aladdin or Mulan.

I've been wanting to say this for quite a while but just because a DP made some sort of dumb mistake with the way they live their life or things they say to their family or whatever, that doesn't make that DP dumb in any way. Sometimes it does get to that point and I understand that many smart people apply their intelligence to these kinds of decisions, but something small like leaving the West Wing may have not been the greatest decision but some people on fanpop say that makes Belle dumb. When you have a Beast screaming at you and roaring like that, your fear causes you to just act without thinking. I know that decisions play a part in determining somebody's intelligence though. I've been thinking though, maybe in Ariel's case although I do think she isn't really the smartest and acts a bit like an impulsive teenager, she is more reckless and impulsive than dumb. I mean, she kind of is dumb, but she is not as dumb as some people make her out to be IMO. Okay this is kind of off topic...

Her ability to think on her feet and cleverly use simple objects and surrounding environment to her advantage in combat (whether it's winning a game of checkers, wiping out an entire Hun army with just a cannon and mountain of snow, and later take out Shan Yu with nothing but a fan and rocket)

Belle is booksmart, Aladdin is streetsmart, Mulan is both.
