I know I'm the only one but I just can't help it because they were a big part of my life.

I mean they are all almost all made by different people from a different sections of the company. I can see why you do, but I don't.

thats why Cinderella is so high on my list because I liked a lot more of her personality in the sequels. She would have been last if i didnt get to see more of her.

I say no, not because it ruins the characters, but because first impressions should be the best. I feel that sequels are usually made to strengthen a dull character.

So therefore I only use the first movies to judge.

I like some sequels, but definitely not. Like Annika said, they were made by different people.

The sequels almost always butcher the DPs. I was a huge fan of the three Aladdin movies when I was little, and I still like the sequels for their nostalgic value, but I wouldn't use them for a list.

Okay, so I mostly think of only the originals, but there are times when I consider sequels. (I haven't seen much of the tv shows)
I only consider the sequels if I had a positive opinion on them. I kind of like to ignore/delete from my memory the painful sequels.

That's one of the reasons Ariel is so much higher on my list than she used to be. I also prefer Pocahantas' character in the sequel to the orignal.

I haven't seen them all but even then I think the character is most pure I guess you can say in the original. What I mean is that the sequels often change the characters so they aren't like they were originally intended, maybe the sequels better them sometimes but everyone still knows the originals better.

Maybe the sequels a little bit but not the Tv series since I didn't have the chance watch them. But mostly, I don't..

I tend to watch the sequels once and never bother with them again, and I've never seen any of the TV series. However, I must admit that Pocahontas standing up for the bear in her sequel does add some brownie points.
