Disney-Prinzessin Article: DP: Favorit Halloween Activities

To continue the Halloween theme, I thought it would be neat to picture each Disney Princess' Favorit Halloween-themed activity. I'd Liebe to hear what Du guys think!

Prefer to stay indoors on Halloween:

Snow White: Passing Out Candy- I think Snow White look most vorwärts-, nach vorn to passing out Süßigkeiten to all of the spunky visiting children. I think the smile on their faces as she drops the Süßigkeiten in their little bags would make her very happy. I don't think she'd be much interested in any of the Mehr scary elements of this holiday.

Cinderella: Making Costumes- Whether a costume for herself oder all of her DP friends, I think Aschenputtel enjoys sewing as a hobby and would enjoy challenging herself to make nice costumes on Halloween. Like Snow White, I don't think she'd particularly be much interested in any of the Mehr scary elements of this holiday.

Tiana: Catering Halloween Parties- There are quite a few reasons that I think Tiana would look vorwärts-, nach vorn to this. Bringing people together "from all walks of life" with her good food, Wird angezeigt off her cooking talents and socializing without too much spotlight oder expectations (like dressing up and/or dancing).

Rapunzel: Carving Jack O Lanterns & Making Other Halloween Decorations/Crafts: Very artistic and creative, I think Rapunzel would Liebe this Halloween activity! I think she would want to make multiple Jack O Lanterns and bake the seeds as well. I think she would enjoy going all out, perhaps even building sets etc. for a haunted house. (Maybe she & Aschenputtel could make the costumes.) I don't think she'd mind going out to see scary events, but I think she'd prefer safer events like Halloween costume parties etc.

Aurora, Mulan & Elsa: Watching Scary Movies- I think each of these DPs would Liebe watching scary Filme the most. I think they'd all like a little scare but not too much. I think they'd enjoy spending time in each other's company and talking about the films Mehr than getting frightened.

Prefer to go out on Halloween:

I think each of these DPs would prefer to be out and about on Halloween, checking out all of the themed activities going on. I could see them all checking out haunted/spooky places together. That being said, they'd each still have their own preference oder Favorit Halloween activity.

Ariel: Checking out Haunted Locations (i.e. Ships, Graveyards, etc.)

Belle: Checking out Spooky Locations (i.e. Haunted Houses, Asylums, etc.)

Jasmine: Any Halloween Activity Involving Socializing Most likely prefer Halloween parties like Rapunzel but Mehr open to tagging along to see frightening haunted events than Rapunzel would be (especially if it involves a group).

Pocahontas: Trick over Treat/Pulling Pranks & Scaring Others (Perhaps even Working Scare Events)

Merida: Checking out Halloween Mazes & Walk-Throughs

Anna: Treat over Trick/Collecting Süßigkeiten & Chocolate

What do Du guys think? :)

anukriti2409 Interesting read! I like Cinderella's and Tiana's activities the best. I think Aurora would also like to dress up in costume and go out for trick or treat with her animal friends tagging along. And i think Elsa would not celebrate Halloween altogether... being a solitary sorts.

laylastepford ^ Thanks! I thought about doing a trick or treat group separate from the haunted events group but I kept going back and forth on who to put in it. I also wanted to show more separate individual favorite activities but cross-overs are new for me so didn't want to overload myself. I agree with you that Elsa wouldn't celebrate Halloween which is why I picked watching scary movies. I don't see that as a real celebration so much as an inspired event because it's not confined to just Halloween but fits the mood better around that time. Also I think you are right about Elsa being more solitary but I think she does enjoy some social activities like making a snowman with Anna as kids and the ice rink at end of frozen which is why I added her to watching the movies. It's also an event you can do with other people but isn't super social because you're watching more than talking.

PrincessAyeka12 If only England could celebrate Halloween like the Americans. I'm serious we (those young at heart) envy you on that. Halloween looks so exciting in the US. We sell Halloween costumes here and decorations. But it's the scary stuff only. Kids and teens don't dress up as abosulutely anything they want. It's all Witches, Vampires, Zombies, Ghosts, Devils/Demons and Werewolves. Although young adults seem to branch out and try something more creative, still equally as scary though. My friend when she was at University with her flat mates (3 cheerleaders & a few double-science students hoping to work with the Police in the future) went to a Halloween party dressed as the Mafia. I hear the costume was pretty accurate right down to the real looking but fake plastic guns in their pockets. It's funny and creepy thinking about it because they had no choice but to take public transport to get to the party. The passengers on the bus were very nervous until they finally got off the bus. Relief! Another example of a non-traditional costume; military uniforms or spy costumes with walkie-talkies, sun glasses and water guns. A guy from college says that him and his friend used to hide behind bushes and jump on kids passing by, chasing them down the street. Then they'd contact each other, select another target and hide again. I don't celebrate. Most adults don't. Over here, it's really just for the young kids, young teens and maybe older teens in University. When I was younger though, I'd watch Hocus Pocus or Scream (for a one-off Halloween Sleepover) every year. Sometimes played bobbing for apples. Nice article!

laylastepford [b][u]PrincessAyeka12:[/b][/u] I wouldn't be so jealous if I were you. Lots of the women just use it as an excuse to go out in lingerie or less. Lots of the parties are just for hooking up and getting drunk etc. It's not really the scary event that it used to be which is why more and more Americans just want to watch scary movies around Halloween or go to a theme park or event that is doing something special for it. We do have some nice Halloween events like mazes or "haunted houses" where people dress up and scare you as you walk through but they get old for me. There are a few quirky and creative spirits here though who come up with some neat and unique ideas but that is far more rare than the lingerie costumes. Teenagers and adults here do the lingerie party thing or they tend to not be very involved other than passing out candy to the kids. It's really only kids that actually go trick or treating. If teenagers try it, they will often not get candy and the adults will assume they are just chaperoning the children. At least where I live. I've always just preferred scary stories or movies, myself. I like carnivals (for any occasion) but they don't do a lot of those in America anymore. Anyway, I'm glad you liked the article! PrincessAyeka12 Nah, we're just jealous of halloween in the 80's / 90's American teen and kids movies. And Halloween in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and many teen comedy shows. Basically the fantasy not the reality.

PrincessAyeka12 In my youth there was very little to watch on TV unless you had Sky or Virgin. I'd set videos to record halloween themed episodes of teen shows on the channels; Trouble or Nickelodeon. No one did anything related on our five channels. These days the most exciting thing on Strictly Come Dancing: Halloween Special. Love it! Nowadays most people skip over Halloween and prepare for Bonfire Night (Guy Fawkes). The fireworks start before the 5th of November. Day and Night...it seems. It happens every year! Some people just can't wait so they start early.

I wish TV was still more limited in America because people watch way too much and it distorts their perceptions of reality. Bonfire Night sounds awesome! I love bonfires. I think they are so beautiful and relaxing. I haven't been to many in my life but I have always loved the concept of bonfires. Fireworks with the bonfires sounds lovely! We have 4th of July here where people can go crazy with fireworks. Some people are so eager that they actually start lighting them like an entire month in advance. They think 4th of July applies to the whole summer.

PrincessAyeka12 If you want a bonfire with fireworks you have to go to an organised event. At home, it's just fireworks and sparklers.

What a Puzzle to the Rest of Us: A study of the plot holes in Beauty and the Beast

I'm sure many of Du are aware that Beauty and the Beast is my Favorit Disney movie, since I can't help but trumpet that fact everywhere I go, but lately I've been hearing a lot about the plot holes present in the film. I hadn't ever noticed any of these discrepancies until people pointed them out to me, and I was surprised to find that their presence did nothing to diminish my Liebe for the movie. Normally the revelation of these plot holes would have bumped the movie down several spots on my list, but instead they provided Essen for thought. Why do we feel the need to compare The Princess and the Frog with Tangled?

If I had to write an Artikel which one of those Filme is better, I know what the result would be. I consider Rapunzel – Neu verföhnt the better movie because it has a cohesive story, better characters, better score, Mehr impressive Animation – it just beats The Princess and the Frog in every aspect. But why is there this constant need to compare those two Filme in the first place? I have never seen anyone comparing any of the Disney Princess Filme with the one which came directly beforehand oder after, unless it was for pointing out the development in animation.

Cinderella's Castle!

I did this Umfrage awhile Vor to see if anyone was interested in Lesen about my trip! Lots of people were so I finally decided to write it. I met every Princess (except Pocahontas) and other characters

I went for 4 days a couple weeks ago. Both of my parents and their friend ran the 25th Anniversary Disney Marathon so we got to go on a trip to WDW! We stayed at a WDW Resort, Port Orleans Riverside. My Favorit Disney Princess Couples

This is my Sekunde article, and I decided to go a bit romantic since, first of all, I'm a Libra so there's clearly natural romance inside my heart, and, second, I just Liebe the mushiness and happiness that Disney brings that mention anything to do with hearts, which we all know is full of DP.
