Ok so I was just randomly listening to the 2 songs off the TVD soundtrack from episode 1x01 and 3x19...and I noticed something that blew my mind. I just thought I'd share it. We all know how influential the Musik can be as far as foreshadowing goes. This analysis just furthers my belief that Delena were meant to be all along and from the very beginning.

So when Elena is going to the cemetery in the very first episode of season 1, unbeknownst to her, Damon is hiding in the fog watching her. While this is going on, the song in the background (Say All I Need Von One Republic) has lyrics that go "All I need is the air I breathe, and a place to rest my head."

In season 3 episode 19, Damon and Elena finally KISS passionately. The accompanying song (Never Let Me Go Von Florence and The Machine) has a verse that says "I found the place to rest my head."

I see what Du did there TVD crew :-)

panther-jewel I actually already read about that - and I SO love all of these important details that are hidden throughout the whole story and prove Delena to be THE couple of the story.

TVDDelena1 <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3!! That gives me chills thinking about that, like they were meant to be together since the beginning and the writers were hiding hints in the music!! I really hope it's not just a coincidence...!

No fandom wants to see a ship they've loved, supported and fought for replaced.
For us, the departure of Elena could well mean Küssen the hopes of a happy ending for our ship goodbye forever. But it could also mean something else: the potential for a new romance - whether that be a hook-up oder Mehr - for Bamon.
The animosity between DE Fans and Bamon Fans has been a long-standing one. In some cases, I would argue that the biggest ship war has been with Bamon, not Stelena. DE and Bamon Fans simply do not get along due to their totally conflicting perspectives and understanding of the characters....

Let me just start Von saying that yes I am still not able to form any coherent thoughts after 5x16 but i will try to put forth something. 5x16 was definitely one of the best Delena episodes so far, the whole episode being delena centric. But its not the number of scenes they got. Its what happened in them. Its about what every interaction from a "hey you" to "I cant" meant. Its about how these two people who Liebe each other with such fervent passion, were ripped away from each other and against all the odds in the universe are still each other's. Are still each others' home. What they both come...
