The need for Delena: My thoughts on "The End of the Affair" episode

I really hope there is a change of gears in the upcoming episodes.

Seriously! Stefan ended things with Elena and sure he still loves her but I mean HE REMEMBERS HIS Liebe WITH REBECA (LOVED that twist with her and Klaus knowing him btw)

I am praying that Stefan and Rebeca rekindle their relationship. That way Stefan will finally be in a happy relationship where he doesn't have to constantly worry about the Liebe of his life being in danger because of it.

I think he should either be with her oder Katherine. I am so glad she's back and that is amazing that she is keeping her eye on him... she loves him so much...

Also DUDE. Elena is in grieving... AGAIN. And Damon is there for her AGAIN. Ugh I am hoping that soon she starts to acknowledge her feelings for Damon because they are there/growing.

And many of Du guys probably don't know this fic, but the end of the promo where Damon says "I am not Stefan!" for some reason I immediately thought of the fanfic The Darkest Side of Me Von SuchALittleMonster. It's AU but SO DAMN HOT AND GOOD. The fic shows the darker evil side of Damon and he doesn't hold back oder play "the nice guy" and he doesn't hold back from taking what he wants.

Anyway, I thought about it during the promo (mostly because I kinda want it to happen... >.>) because it seems, and I know I am most likely wrong, that Damon is tired of Elena's obsession with bringing back Stefan (I mean HELL he KNOWS, and so does she, that if Klaus finds out that she's alive that he'll kill her!) and basically isn't playing the nice "Oh! I'll be your friend and try to help Du figure out how to bring him back," oder the comforting "It's okay, Du can cry on my shoulder and still keep me waiting because I Liebe you" kind of guy, he will go off the deep end of rage and frustration of the whole situation.

Not gonna lie, the thought of him taking what he wants and Wird angezeigt her how he "is not Stefan" and he can be what she needs, is really fucking hot. =X

I mean, what else will it take for them to be together?

Actually, the better Frage is how much Mehr of a push does Elena need in order to realize that Stefan doesn't want to be with her BECAUSE HE LOVES HER and it would kill him if ANYTHING happened to her because she's spending her time trying to get him to come Home instead of moving on and living her life? Right now I personally think she is being selfish because she just wants Stefan to be with her even though she knows that the consequences could be deadly and thus give Stefan Mehr torment.

Anyway, insgesamt FANTASTIC episode and I am biting my nails waiting for Weiter week!

So after the last episode was aired the Damon hate started again. Over what? Damon saying to Elena, “Let me be clear about something. If it comes down to Du and the witch again I will gladly let Bonnie die. I will always choose you.”

The hate doesn’t make any sense. Ok so Damon was sweet and nice to Bonnie. I bet some Fans thought that he cared about her but guess what? He never cared about her! He may respect / understand her, but he’s never gonna actually care for her on a romantic level! And as of right now I don’t see him caring about her at all. All I see is respect...

Let's be clear about something: I LIKE Stefan, even if I don't like how he behaves towards Damon sometimes. I am not reprimanding the DE Fans who enjoy 'Defan'. I accept that it is one of the central ships of the show, and an important one at that. What I cannot understand however, is the Fans who view Defan oder 'Team Salvatore' as this sacred, untouchable bond and a ship above all others just because they are brothers.
