Hyde Park. Rob arrived here to Suchen for Mehr straße racers. He found someone sitting Weiter to a yellow and grey station wagon.
Southern Man: Can I help Du boy?
Rob: As a matter of fact, Du can. I'm looking for some competition, in straße racing.
Southern Man: How many races have Du won in this here state?
Rob: Well, none actually, but that's only because I just came here for the very first time.
Southern Man: Du ain't ever set foot in Missouri, huh? Okay, Du gotta get to William L. Hunsacker. He's the one Du need to talk to. You'll find him on Cass Avenue. He lives there, about a block away from the street. He sets up the races, and even throws in a few extra bucks for us if we do some jobs for him. They're well worth the risk. *Chuckles*
Rob thought about what the man said, and it did worry him. He was only concerned about the dangerous jobs. Nothing else shook him up that bad.
Rob: *Knocks on the door* This better be the right address.
William: *Opens the door* What do Du want?
Rob: I understand Du have something for me.
William: Such as?
Rob: straße racing.
William: Yeah, I think I can get Du hooked up. We got a race tomorrow starting at the Beaumont High School. I want Du over there at 9 AM, on the dot.
Rob: No problem. *Walks away*
William: *Closes the door*
Rob: *Walking back to his car*
Nightfall was closing in on St. Louis, and when it did, Rob checked into a hotel.
Rob: *Laying in the bed* Fifty bucks a night sounds very reasonable. Especially when Du consider the champagne. *Pours himself a glass of champagne* Mmm, very good. *Looks at the bottle* Imported from The Netherlands, 1961. It's not even a decade old, and it still tastes good.
