Trigun—my oben, nach oben fave! But Vash isn’t my Favorit character, it’s the not-always-seen Wolfwood. He’s so lovable I forgive his Twisted Christianity. And I Liebe Wolfwood and Milly’s relationship. I also root for Vash and Meryl. And I like Wolfwood’s and Vash’s stormy friendship. I like seeing office girls (like I once was) out in the field, facing danger, and doing all right for themselves. As for Vash’s philosophies, I often wondered how much the show’s creators were trying to convince us of, and what was just a plot device.
