Notes: This light parody story is based on the film, The Wind Rises. The characters are from Johnny Depp's Alice in Wonderland films. Special thanks to the people that created and own The Wind Rises and Alice in Wonderland. This a story for Fanpop and Fanfiction.

Tarrant Hightopp (the Hatter) loved hats. He lived in Underland. He had a clown face. He wanted to become a hat designer. He sagte "I want to become a good hatter like my dad." 1 night he stared at the sky, imagining a sky full of hats. He suddenly had a dream where he was in a hat filled area.

Zanik Hightopp sagte "Tarrant what are Du doing in my dream?"

Tarrant sagte "This is my dream too."

Zanik sagte "So Du want to Design hats too?"

Tarrant sagte "Yes please."

Zanik sagte "Remember that hats aren't for war oder for money. Hats are a beautiful dream. Hatters bring dreams to life."

Tarrant sagte "So I can be a hatter?"

Zanik sagte "Of course Du can."

Years later Tarrant was a young adult on a train ride to his college. While there Tarrant met a young girl named Alice Kingsleigh. Tarrant's Favorit hat got blown Von the wind. Alice caught the hat and handed it to Tarrant. Tarrant sagte "The hats are rising. We must try to keep them on our heads."

A short time later a earthquake happened. Alice's guardian, Mallymkun (The Dormouse) had a injured leg so Tarrant volunteered to take her home.

Tarrant sagte "Mam don't worry. I'll get Du home." Tarrant carried Mallymkun to her home. Alice carried Tarrant's suitcase.
Alice sagte "Thank Du for saving her."

Tarrant sagte "You're welcome."

Alice sagte "What's in your heavy suitcase?"

Tarrant sagte "100 tee cups. Well I better get going. Fairfarren."

Years later Tarrant and his best friend Thackery (The March Hare) graduated from college. Tarrant was a cheerful person, but Thackery was grumpy. They got jobs working at a hat company. Sadly this was during World War 2 and hats were being used for war.

Tarrant turned out to be a better hat designer than anybody else. Tarrant constantly had visions which he used for hat designs. He sagte "Bosses what do Du think of my work?"

The 2nd in charge of the hat company, Hamish Ascot, sagte "These designs aren't what I asked for."

The 1st in charge, Mirana (The White Queen), sagte "This is better than what we wanted and expected. Good job."

Tarrant sagte "Thank you."

Hamish reluctantly sagte "Congratulations."

1 of Tarrant's hat ideas got created. The hat was tested to find out if it could fly in the air.

Mirana sagte "The hat is flying."

Hamish sagte "Well so far it is."

A Minute later the hat fell. Tarrant was upset that the hat crashed to the ground.

Tarrant sagte "That's not good."

Mirana sagte "The Design was good, but the end result wasn't."

Hamish sagte "Which is why Du and the hase are being sent to Germany to study hat designs."

Tarrant and Thackery went to Germany. Tarrant sagte "This is exciting."

Thackery sagte "It would be better if the sneaky Germans actually let us look at the hats closely enough."

The guards made sure that Tarrant and Thackery got to look at a minimal amount of hats.

Tarrant was optimistic, but Thackery wasn't. Tarrant sagte "This isn't too bad."

Thackery sagte "Actually it's bad."

Tarrant sagte "But we got to see some German hats."

Thackery sagte "The Germans won't let us find out how to make the same quality of hats. This is a useless effort."

Tarrant sagte "Don't Du think Du should be happier?"

Thackery sagte "Nah."

Tarrant was sent back to Underland. Tarrant had another dream where Zanik returned. Tarrant sagte "Hi dad."

Zanik sagte "Are the hats still rising?"

Tarrant sagte "They sure are."

Zanik sagte "Excellent."

Tarrant sagte "Actually my job is falling apart. Underland is behind when it comes to hats. The Germans are beating us."

Zanik sagte "Son Du have what the Germans don't: creativity. Creativity outranks all fancy new hat materials."

Tarrant sagte "You're right."

Zanik sagte "Artists have a decade to shine. We hatters are no different. Live your decade well."

Mirana wanted Tarrant to recover from the hat crash so Tarrant spent some time at a hotel.

Tarrant walked outside where a now grown up Alice Kingsleigh was. Alice was a painter. Alice's umbrella got blown Von the wind, but Tarrant caught it.

Alice's dad, Charles Kingsleigh, sagte "Thank Du for saving the umbrella."

Tarrant sagte "You're welcome."

The Weiter Tag Tarrant paced around outside and found Alice. Tarrant sagte "Hi."

Alice sagte "It's you. I remember you. Du saved Mally years ago. She and I were so thankful for your kindness during the earthquake."

Tarrant sagte "It's good to see Du again."

Tarrant and Alice walked together. It was raining. Tarrant sagte "This rain better not ruin my hat."

Alice sagte "You were pretty much a hero to me and Mally."

Tarrant sagte "Really?"

Alice sagte "Of course. She would of died in the earthquake if Du weren't there. I'm surprised that Du would work hard to save somebody that Du don't know."

Tarrant sagte "You never need to know to help." Tarrant and Alice smiled at each other.

The Weiter night Alice was sick so Tarrant didn't get to visit her. He was slightly sad about that.

The Weiter Tag Tarrant made a hat and threw it to Alice. Tarrant sagte "Wanna play catch with hats?"

Alice sagte "That idea is mad, bonkers, but all the best ideas are."

Alice threw the hat back to Tarrant. Tarrant caught it.

Tarrant and Alice kept throwing hats to each other. It was lots of fun. Tarrant realized that he had fallen in Liebe with Alice. He might even Liebe her Mehr than hats.

Alice's hat fell off her head. Tarrant caught her hat. Even though it was a hat for girls Tarrant put the hat on. Alice giggled.

The Weiter Tag Tarrant was in the dinging room with Charles Kingsleigh. Tarrant sagte "Before I came to your hotel I was lonely, but now I'm happy, because I have a true love."

Charles sagte "Are Du in Liebe with Alice?"

Tarrant sagte "Yep. I wanna be with her forever. Is that okay?"

Charles sagte "I'm not sure what to say."

Alice sagte "I hope Du say yes."

Tarrant sagte "Alice I Liebe you."

Alice sagte "I Liebe you."

Tarrant sagte "Will Du be my girlfriend?"

Alice sagte "Of course. I've loved Du since the Tag your hat brought Du to me."

Tarrant and Alice kissed.

Alice moved to Underland. Tarrant was excited to spend Mehr time with Alice, but his job kept him busy.

Tarrant sagte "Thackery how's your hats?"

Thackery sagte "Terrible. It's a disaster."

Tarrant sagte "Oh. Good luck."

Thackery sagte "You too."

Tarrant sagte "Boss my girlfriend misses me."

Hamish sagte "Too bad. We're close to making your dream hat. No time for romance."

Tarrant sagte "You're sadly right."

Hamish kept Tarrant busy for a week. After all that Tarrant visited Alice. Tarrant sagte "Alice I'm sorry that I've been gone."

Alice sagte "Don't worry about it."

Tarrant sagte "Are Du still sick?"

Alice sagte "Hardly."

Tarrant sagte "Here's some tea: the best cure in all of Underland."

Alice sagte "The tee tastes kind of weird."

Tarrant sagte "Oh. That's the Abgelaufen tea."

Alice sagte "Why do Du have expire tea?"

Tarrant sagte "It's for the Cheshire Cat."
Tarrant worked hard several days while Alice waited for him to visit her. Finally he got his big war hat ready. Tarrant presented it to his co-workers while his bosses watched.

Mirana sagte "It's a eccentric hat."

Hamish sagte "It's fantastic."

Poor Alice was tired of spending her days alone so she went to Tarrant's house. Alice sagte "I dislike bothering you, but I missed you."

Tarrant sagte "I missed Du too. After my war hat is finished we'll be together always."

A week later Tarrant's war hats were ready to be used for World War 2. Tarrant tried to focus on the hats, but he was distracted Von how much he missed Alice.

Hamish sagte "The hats are ready."

Mirana sagte "Congratulations."

Tarrant sagte "Oh. Thanks."

All of Tarrant's hats got destroyed during the war, but Tarrant had something Mehr important to deal with. Tarrant visited Alice. He sagte "Hi."

Alice sagte "I heard what happened to your hats. Du must be so sad."

Tarrant sagte "Not at all."

Alice sagte "Are Du sure?"

Tarrant sagte "Alice during my life I've had 2 loves: the work Liebe and you. I Lost 1 love, but my true Liebe is alive and that's all I need to be happy." Alice kissed Tarrant.
