Shuhei once faced a terrible accident...once he was assigned to being a team leader to an examination squad and he saw his Friends were killed Von hollows in front of him he couldn't save them........ after that he became so scared that he didnt go for any battles he was even afraid to use his sword....then one Tag his Squad captain Kaname Tosen give him lessons and training and after that he became so strong.......he manage to wield his deadly shikai........Kazeshini........thats why even after shuhei realised Kaname betrayed soul society he still believed in Kaname ideals and respected him as always........he dont like any one bad mouthing kaname even after his death.........bcz Kaname was a great teacher who made him strong.............
