Well, my Favorit girl turned boy (and the only one I recall seeing in an anime, though i know in the soul eater Manga everyone gender swapped) is Ayu in Ultramaniac. She was turned into a boy supposedly to give her better athletic abilities to be able to compete with a boy. She also suffered her first KISS as a boy with a girl.
