"Come on guys wake up," I heard Gavan yell at us.
"No Gavan I want to stay asleep for a few Mehr Minuten please."
"No get your arsch up, it might be a break from alpha school but that doesn't mean Du have to sleep all day." Gavan said, "Come on we got things to do."
"Like what?"
"Checking the borders, Tracking the Caribou, Watching the pups, and all the other Alpha duties."
"Gavan last time I checked only a graduated Alphas have Alpha duties."
"Yes, but you're going to help me and Dane with ours," He snapped back.
"Wait what," Dane sagte as he sat up really quickly, "Why do we have to work with him all day?"
"Because I don't want him to grow lazy."
"I'm not lazy!"
"Stay out of this." Gavan snapped.
"Fine whatever." I replied. I decided that I didn't feel like dealing with those two today so I just decided to walk behind them and leave the cave for now. I mean, they don't even care anyway.
I walked out of the höhle, den and into the valley in front of us. I just went down to the rock where my sister told me that Mom and Dad got married at, and just laid down. I looked at the ground for a second. "I wish I knew Du mom and dad." I thought
"Hey sis." I sagte looking behind me as Anna walked up to me and laid down beside me.
"Hey, what are Du doing here?"
"Getting away from Gavan and Dane."
"Oh...why?"
"They're arguing over wether I need to help with Alpha duties oder not."
"You're not a trained Alpha...You're not supposed to."
"I know..Finally someone who knows the rules."
She giggled and looked at me with a smile on her face. "You're funny Du know that?" She asked giggling, "You're just like da-" She put her paw over her mouth realizing what she just said.
"Yeah....I know....Just like dad." I sagte as I got up and walked away with my tail between my legs and my head hanging down. "Jason, I." "Just leave me alone would you?" I asked.
I walked down some trails that I knew would take me to the Moonlight Howl Rock. I just wanted to be alone and I knew that that was the best place to do it from.
I got hungry and tired, but I just kept walking until I got to the rock. I went to the oben, nach oben where mom and dad howled all the time and just sat there. I took a deep breath.....and howled. The howl was full of sadness and depression. While I was howling, I noticed my tears were wetting my pelz and making a huge puddle under my paws.
When I finished I layed down in the puddle that was just formed and closed my eyes. Then I heard someone behind say this, "Wow, Du can really howl."
I turned around and there was Ali. Standing there looking up at me with a worried look.
"Ali...um....how did Du know I was here?"
"I listened."
"Oh." I sagte looking down.
"Jason."
"Yes?"
"Did Du ever know your parents?"
"No, I didn't."
"Did they know you?"
"Um.......I guess, why?"
"Then they know you. Think about it." She sagte as she looked at the moon. Then, she howled a howl that was full of happiness. I then, felt true happiness and with joining her in a howl, I now know how dad felt, when he howled with the girl of his dreams.
We finished and I just sat there and looked at her for a few minutes. Then, we heard another howl that was full of sadness and worry. "That sounds like.....oh shit!"
"What?"
"That's Anna." I sagte running in the direction of the howl.
Anna was standing at our höhle, den howling beautifully. I just sat there and listened to her howl. When she finished, she laid down and closed her eyes.
"Ali, maybe Du should go."
"I want to stay with Du though."
"Ali i-" I sagte then looking into her beautiful green eyes and realizing that I was rejecting the girl of my dreams, "Oh fine."
We walked up to the höhle, den and I sat behind Anna then said, "That was beautiful."
She just turned and then ran away.right
"Anna?"
"She'll come back."
"Okay........."
"Well I'll see Du later."
"I'll see Du later."
She walked off smiling.
I then laid down and went to sleep.
