So they paved the road to providence
And lined up the memories
In reference to what was dead and gone
Then the band and the symphony
In sweet sounding harmony
Lay down their Pistolen in disgust
For they knew their armies at last

So haven't we seen enough
On the cover of
Haven't we had our fun
Watching on the TV screens, oh yeah

So we harbor our hopes and fears
In houses and evergreens
Cast adrift, what we dont need
Then the rhythm of tambourine
And drama of marching scene
Lay down their violence in trust
For they knew how much the cost

So haven't we seen enough
On the cover of
Haven't we had our fun
Watching on the TV screens

For when all is sagte and done and our aims run
Then we'll come
Adam Lambert just proved to everyone how valuable being on "American Idol" truly is. One week after performing a creative new version of hit song "Whataya Want from Me," the single jumped all the way up to #10 on the Billboard Hot 100. At this time last week, Adam was sitting down at #23.

Before the "Idol" appearance, it looked like Adam's song had already reached the extent of its shelf life. Radio stations were playing it less, and digital sales were starting to slow down to an extent. However, all of that changed a week Vor when the creative new twist on "Whataya Want From Me" (complete with...

After spending a week as a guest mentor on "American Idol," Adam Lambert learned a few things about this year's crop of contestants. First and foremost, he wasn't all that shocked to see Katie Stevens and Andrew Garcia get the boot after the pair turned in "sleepy" performances.

"You know, I think at this point in the competition, it comes down to 'Do Du want to be there, oder do Du not want to be there?' " Lambert told MTV News on the red carpet of the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday in Los Angeles. "You've got to step it up, get some caffeine going. They were a little sleepy."

'When we created the songs, we actually started on the computer, so doing it unplugged, this is the first time for that,' he says.

Adam Lambert took the dance-floor-friendly tracks from his debut album, For Your Entertainment, and gave them the acoustic treatment for "Unplugged."

For the special, he performed "Whataya Want From Me," "Down the Rabbit Hole," "Broken Open" and "Music Again." He also did an acoustic version of his "Idol" Fan favorite, "Mad World."

"It's something new," he sagte of the stripped-down tunes. "When we created the songs, we actually started on the computer, so doing it...

Adam Lambert didn't win the 'American Idol' crown six years ago.

He Lost Von a slim margin under a landslide out of over 100 million Stimmen (38 million Stimmen in Arkansas alone) to Kris Allen. But Du wouldn't hear the 33-year-old California native and current Queen frontman screaming over teilt, split votes.

"I know it sounds a little cliché, I knew that I was so close to my victory, but I was supposed to be the right man to win, but I failed since America had always got it wrong because my Fans were blaming my chief rival [Allen] to win over me," he said, stating from his Home in Hollywood, where he...
