Waking up Von being thrown in a cage with my hands tied up wasn’t exactly the ideal way for me to wake up. I was laying on my side on the cold cage floor, and eventually squirmed my way up to leaning on the side of the age, sitting down. The room was dimly lit, but it was pretty easy to make out certain objects. In front of me there was a surgical table, a control board, and 7 different containment units. To my right were 2 other empty cages, and to my left was another cage. I screamed at the sight of what was in it, but then calmed down and sighed when I realized it was just Roy, still unconscious. “Roy. Wakey, Wakey!” I sagte in my most sing-songy nervous voice. He groaned, “Five Mehr minutes, mom.” I thought I heard him that mumble out. I tried to suppress my laughter, but it just blurted out. He groaned again and slowly got up. “Feeling better?” I asked jokingly. “Where are we?” I shrugged, “You tell me.” He rubbed the side of his head, and when he looked at his hand that he had rubbed his head with, there was very distinct blood. “Roy…” I sagte with my voice quavering the slightest bit. “You’re bleeding.” I finished quietly. Quickly I reached into my boot where I kept a pouch filled with emergency first-aid supplies and pulled out a large gauze pad. Through the cage bars I quietly slipped my arm through and handed it to him. “You really came prepared.” He sagte with a surprised tone.
A door slammed, and I wasn’t even going to reach for my gun, I already knew that they taken it. There was a small clicking noise and lights flashed on and revealed the rest of the room. It wasn’t that big, beside what I had seen before there was a table, a few chairs, and some weird looking equipment. From the door that was slammed open emerged a man, but his face was covered Von shadows. “Well, well, well, look what we have here.” The man said. He was wearing a laboratory coat, with various gadgets sticking out of the front pocket. “Cliché much?” I asked. He ignored me and went on, “Let me tell Du why you’re here.” I groaned, “Please don’t start monologing, please don’t start monologing…” I whispered. Honestly, I hated all that “I’m a evil person, this is my plan” crap. I just wanted to get out of here and find out if the teams were ok, and what the heck Blade was talking about before… “So, here’s the plan… we are going to go on a field trip, and find your little friends.” Roy cut him off, “We are not little.” He corrected. The man balled his fists and growled. “SHUT UP!!” He snapped, and then changed tones. “Anyhoo, they’re going to Mitmachen us, we’re going to take their powers, then dispose of them.” I was confused, “And where do we come into play?” I asked. “Miss Marino, Du are the bait.” He slyly answered. I stumbled backwards, “How do Du know my-“ He stepped into the light, revealing his face. “Oh. My. God… Mr. Byrnes?” I practically screamed. Arrow leaned over to me, “Um, who is this psychopath?” He pointed his thumb at him. I gulped; this was the weirdest Tag ever. “It’s, um, Ryder’s dad.” Red Arrow seemed appalled. Another door opened and Blade and several other men walked in. “Let’s go for a ride!” He announced. Mr. Byrnes pulled a small button controller out of the pocket of his lab mantel and pressed it, making the 2 doors on the cage open wide. I quickly got out and so did Roy, this was our chance. I kicked Mr. Byres in the face and he stumbled back into one of the tables. Roy went after all the extra men; Byrnes came back at me and punched me in the stomach. Blocking his punches was harder when my hands were tied together. I whacked him in the face again with my hands, and he was knocked out. Blade came up to me and untied my hands, “Just to make things a bit fair.” He whispered. I rubbed my wrists in an attempt relive the rope burn I had. “I know, and I’m really sorry about this.” Quickly I kissed him, and then punched him so hard in the face that he fell to the floor unconscious. I looked over Roy, who had taken care of his 3 men.
“Hey Roy?”
“Yeah?”
“Do Du have any idea how we can get out of here?”
“Nope.”
I laughed and untied his hands. I looked around. “We have to warn the others. Before anything bad happens.” I warned. “I Sekunde that.” Roy added.
