Ok I need help....

I was watching twilight with my friend and she had never seen it before and she asked why the cullens Dont eat and what happens if they do. I remembered that edward sagte that when she was pregnant her body was rejecting Essen the way that Vampire Body do. I sagte that the Vampire throw up Essen later to my brother (who read the books) and he called me an idiot. But if their body has no where to put the food, that must mean they puke it up right???? PLZ HELP!!!!!!!! Am i really an Idiot?
