I believe they both Liebe Bella fervently. However having sagte that, the Liebe that Edward has for her is Mehr profound. He evens describes it as being close to imprinting. Which is what Jacob faces later on which someone else. (Sorry to those who haven't read breaking dawn) Therefore its impossible for Jacob to Liebe Bella Mehr than Edward.
I think edward does Liebe her Mehr even though they both Liebe her alot.But I think that since edward has been living for Mehr than a 100 years and he never fell in Liebe intill he met bella,and he dicided to get married and live with her forever he must really Liebe her.Also he left to like protect her even though he really loved her.And I mean jacob imprints and he didn't imprint on bella so it wasn't the person for him.So yea Edward:)
before jake imprints i think that he did Liebe her and would do anything 4 her but as edward did say jake might imprint someday (as he does with bellas daughter!!!) and he might break her herz so i think that its not so much that edward loves her Mehr just that he would never have 2 put her through that.
