I was thinking that a while ago, she did have some side affects though (heightened sex drive :-)) but I was thinking it might affect males and females differently? Not too sure, thought they might tell you in the books perhaps...

i think that if you're injured v. blood heals you but if you're healthy and take it then v. blood works like a drug. and yes, sookie did have lasting side effects.

in the books it says that it affects everyone differently and also it depends on the age of the vamp and how long ago it was drained from him/her
