I awoke dizzily in a brightly lit white room. The curtains were draped neatly and the Fernsehen was on with a very low, monotoned and barely audible level.
Danny sat in the chair Weiter to the window. He was looking out into the bright daylight sky. His face looked very pale and worn in the sunlight. I hadn’t even noticed his very sudden rapid weight loss. He looked so…thin.
The environment I was in finally dawned on me. I was in a hospital bed. I shifted in my bett very loudly, which caused Danny to shoot his head in my direction.
