He promied her he would come back ASAP, but this was broken not a Monat later, when he married to Maria the Hedgehog, sharing her wealth. He did not come back, and this crushed her. She never forgot this, dispite her age. During her time in the Orphanarium, she met Inferno the Hedgehog, who she saw as a big brother. He was street-smart and loved machines. She was adopted Von Tony and Bella the Hedgehogs at th age of 10, alongside with Inferno, who was then 18. They lived in peace for awhile, until disaster struck, at age 15, and all three were killed in a "accident" involving her biological father, who she had now come to hate. At 16, she met Rebecca the Hedgehog, who became a close friend. Rebecca found her a job with the Elites, where she quickly made her way up the ranks, she was a natural fighter. The Military became corrupted, Mercy alongside it, and Rebecca turned traitor and abandon the Elites in a freak accident with Ocean, who she Oscar and Danielle quickly befriended. Inraged at her Friends traitory, she searched all over for a new power source, one she could use to anniliate her foes. She found it in the Jynxx Emerald, a jewel not different from the Master Emrald, only a light grey in color. It was created Von the Negative Energy released once Perfect Chaos became link once Mehr after a battle with link.
Other; Mercy leaves a trail of destruction and chaos in her wake, she is an Icon of fear with those luckey enough to have survived her. If she wants Du dead, you'll be dead. She's ruthless, deteminded, and cunning beyond words, and will stop at nothing to carry out a plan, even if that means putting herself at risk. She loves explosions, implosions, and things that blow up in a fiery haze. She adores the color of blood, ironically, her fur/quill color is a bright, blood-red, wich she is very happy about.
She does seem to have a lighter side, but this very rarely comes through. The only times when she hasn't been her usual, murderous self are when she felt at Home with someone, such as Inferno and Rebecca. The only time past that, that this personality came through, was when she was helping Ocen find the Chaos Emeralds.

Ocean did not seem to mind her attitude. He was used to her unpleasant attitude. Keeping his manners, he said, "Thanks, Mercy. I appreciate your help."
"Anything for family." She sagte with her physcotic grin, her fangs glinting slightly. What she spoke was true; she was Ocean's half-auntie. But, she Mehr than often refered to everyone as family; she saw Rebecca as a sister, Mephiles, Dark, and Iblis as brothers, and Venom as an uncle.
