Anyone else think the guy Jane shot might not have been the real Red John?

I think that after red john described the smell of Jane's wife and the smell of his daughter and he remembered those smells himself, that he knew it had to be red john. I believe that Patrick's face after what red john sagte to him, sagte it all. Althrough the mentalist Jane is the smartest one on the show, he seldoms misses on anything, so I believe that he nailed RJ. and I am so glad that is over. This was the best ever fanalie of any Zeigen on TV to me. I was so happy when this went off that I clapped and clapped my hands for about a minute,and then I reminded myself it's a show. Let it go.

It wouldn't be difficult for Red John to tell another of his followers exactly how he killed Patricks wife and child including details only he would know like the smell of erdbeere & cream shampoo, etc.

It was an excellent season finale, but I'm not so sure it was the end of Red John. And what is going to happen to Jane?? Can he claim self-defense in shooting "RJ" since he had a gun?

If it was actually him,I would have liked Patrick to find out a bit Mehr about Red John. Du know,more about the psychology of him. Why he did all those things? How he got all those people to do things for him? What he did to Christina Frye?

I believe he was the Red John who killed Patrick's family, but I don't think he's the only Red John. The Zeigen has talked about walking that line between being true to Patrick's character and still keeping him likeable. I don't think they'd have Patrick killing an innocent person. Having that amount of blood on his hands and not actually slaying the person that killed his family...that's just a cruel thing to do to a man that's been through so much.

Based on everything I really didn't think that was the real Red John,he knew a lot,that's true but it seemed like it was too easy in a way,I think RJ told the guy the case to make him look like the real Red John to deceive Patrick and others.
