I agree for the most part. People act, when it comes to Mockingjay, like if Prim dies there was no use in going through with volunteering, the Games, the berries, the war itself. And I'm thinking, "So sparing the future generations of Panem from slaughter and corruption isn't a good enough reason?"

Prim and Finnick may have died, but that is a sacrifice for the greater good: freeing Panem. People also say it's useless to have them die. It's supposed to be war---everyone is a redshirt during war. Why should Prim and Finnick not be counted as them, too? I wouldn't say Gale was directly involved---not like he wanted Prim to die---but it is true that he and Beetee designed the bombs. Du are right in saying the Rebels only wanted to win the war and possibly cause even Mehr bloodshed. I do consider myself "Team Peeta", since he is just so much Mehr natural and likeable compared to Gale.

Sorry for my little rant. It just gets on my nerves when people act as though since Prim died, saving the children and teens of the future from playing in the Hunger Games wasn't a good enough reason to rebel.
