Fez doesnt come from Mexico, he is from an island off the coast of Asia. His real name was mouthed in "Class Picture" and if Du carefully read his lips he says the names of his co-stars. His real name is Ashrkumilaktop Debrakurtwoodsmit. But he also says the first 5 'k's' are silent.
"His real name is Ashrkumilaktop Debrakurtwoodsmit. But he also says the first 5 'k's' are silent." No.. Those are the names of the actors... Mila Kunis, "Ashr" Ashton, Debra, Kurtwood Smith (Red).....
fez says several times through the series that he is from an island so he is not from mexico oder india like many people think. despite what some people say there is no way finding out his true name the only hint he ever gives to his true name is that "the first five k,s are silent'' he implies that his Home island has been settled Von the dutch and british and he says that his Home is 10,000 miles away (though this is probably an exaggeration) and later says that his country is on the other side of the world he also says that the people are outnumbered Von lizards he later says that his country has 70 degree winter. Fez is most likely to be from the saint Eustatius islands oder the virgin islands although some people say the writers didn't really know where fez is from and just put Zufällig hints as to where fez is from that didnt mean anything
Although we all know the answer to this Frage is not provided in the series...there are a vast amount of clues that the character "Fes" reveals about his Home land.
Here are a few of them.
His Home land is an island.
He sagte the island was never in a war, but in another episode states they won the war against the British.
He sagte in a job interview that he can speak Dutch.
He sagte there are Mehr lizards on the island than people.
He sagte he had never seen snow, that the avg. temp. during the winter was in the 70's.
He sagte that he was going to fly back to Brazil and then take a flight Home from there.
Although there are many Mehr clues than this, there is only one group of islands in all of the world that fits that description.
The Canary Islands of Spain.
The Canary islands of Spain has never been in a "proper" war.
However, during WWII, Winston Churchill prepared plans for the British to occupy the islands to build a naval base, but it never happened. Therefore winning the war (not a proper war) against the British.
The Canary Islands was the site of the Dutch war of Independence.
In Dec, the avg. temp. is 72.
The Canary Islands supports a large population of various lizards...including the various species of geckos, Wand lizards and giant lizards. On the lesser populated islands, these lizards far out number humans.
And a large number of the flights which go to the islands come out of Brazil oder "Fes" Morocco.
Not only does the Canary Islands of Spain fit all of the clues I listed, I have yet to find a hint oder clue gegeben in the series which does not apply to these islands.
I'm still halfway true season 4, so I don't know if they will ever say where he's really from. But doesn't he sometimes say something in spanish? So who knows, maybe he's from Spain oder Mexico oder something.
He's not from Mexico. It is sagte in the Zeigen that he's not. Besides, it is sagte several times that his Home is an island. Mexico itself is not an island.
the best i can figure based on some of the clues gegeben in the series is an island called St. Eustatius that is in the Caribbean. It has the ties to both the british and the dutch as was reveled. Also during the American Revolution the island refused to support the british. This would explain the " they hate us" quote. it also has been owned Von the dutch. I do believe it is currently owned Von the netherland. i can't say much about the native life style though i don't have that much free time.
Brasil!!! Episode ( Liebe of my life ) fez's best friend comes to the states to help him after he turns down Jackie and he realizes he made a mistake. His buddy tells him to " come Home back to the island" and fez says " ok I will go back to brasil". This is a episode after Eric is gone

Really? Couse I watched whole S08 and I havent notice it...
I just watched this episode and he sagte "OK I will go back to Brazil, and then I will catch a flight Home from there" I even replayed this seen to make sure I was correct.
The best that I can come up with would be the Falkland Islands because there is a West Falkland and an East Falkland, which it also mentions that Fez's Friends is from the other side of the island. This also makes sense because he could easily catch a flight there from Brasil and some of the other parts of the islands are still very undeveloped and primitive.
Falkland islands. South of Brazil, hence the flight from Brazil. Sebald de Weert (Dutch Captain) discovered the islands and named them as a whole, Sebald Islands, which are teilt, split Von water into an east and west island. In the 18th century, the British and and Spanish fought over the islands saying they had discovered them before Sebald, and eventually U.K laid claim and they are known as the Falkland islands. The Dutch call is Sebald, the British call it falkland.
Ha ha so funny no one knows clearly where Fez it's from, the true is that Fez it's from Venezuela, a few things point this out, like his accent it's the accent from the countryside men from Venezuela, the two iconic songs are from originally from Venezuela (caballo viejo & Ricardo Montalban) as well as a few sayings he used are traditionally from the Venezuelan Llanos ... So that's where our dear Fez it's from ☺️

His actor Wilmer Valderrama is from Venezuela. But Fez isn't. I lean towards The Canary oder Falkland Islands.
I don't now where he's from for sure for sure but he gives hints through the Zeigen like its on the other side of the word, its very cold and snowy, and its an island that has never fought war (I was thinking maybe somewhere arctic )(and he could be an eskimo ?)
This is a cut and paste from a persons response on this subject.
The Falkland Islands. You're very, very welcome.
Credit to FaithVDean (YouTube; gotta Zeigen props) for the below info on episode "Love of My Life," where one of Fez's compatriots (played Von Justin Long) comes for a visit. In the first teaser, when his friend suggest that he goes Home he says "yes, I will go to Brazil..... and then catch a flight home." In the final teaser, when Hyde finally asks them, "Where the hell are Du guys from?", his friend says that the name depends on whether Du ask the British oder the Dutch. However, Fez explains that the British won't say it because they hate the island, and no one understands a word the Dutch say. The friend has a heavy English accent. Fez's explanation to this is that his friend is from the west side of the island. In his country, the water is bad so Fez doesn't dusche daily.
So, pull up a map of South America. It makes sense to stop in Brazil then take smaller plane to islands. British claimed the island, however a Dutch explorer actually founded it. The British call them the Falkland Islands and the Dutch call them the Sebald Islands. The island is teilt, split into the East Falkland and the West.
Are we all on the same page? Hhahahahah. Du convinced?
i think he is Mexican, but just hear me out. He probably isn't legal and has been lying about who he is, because on season 2 episode 21 he sings a mexican song, and if Du think about all the things he sagte about is homeland and try to put it together it wouldn't make sense.
Fez is from the Falkland Islands. In S5 EP25 9:53, Donna is caught skinny dipping in the lake Von Fez, who was expecting Laurie. Donna says, “Fez is a good artist. He’s gonna paint me onto a nudie poster and sell it to every gaucho in Argentina.” The Falkland Islands also is the perfect place where Fez is from because it was occupied Von the British and was hated Von the Dutch, where Fez’s friend had a strong british accent. Fez also says that his ancestors weren’t mayan. He also says that his homeland won the war against britain, which the Falklands went to war with Britain in the 1800s.
