Not unless they want a revolution of angry viewers on their hands. Killing Derek right now would seriously damage the show, I can say that right now because I would probably stop watching. Also, not unless Tyler Hoechlin is leaving the Zeigen (like Allison did) I think they're just trying to make some good drama plot. So hopefully not, but Du never know I guess...
Derek is literally the main reason everything on the Zeigen happened, without him there would be no Kate Argent, no Hale house fire, no Peter biting Scott, no Kanima, no Nogutsune no nothing. Killing Derek off would ruin everything. If it did happen they would bring him back in like they did all these other times
