Supernatural. Season 2 episode 1. What goes on between the demon and john?

John makes a deal with the demon, to bring Dean back and to take him instead. The demon takes the gun as well as John had gegeben it to him in the exchange. Initially, John asks to make a deal giving up the fohlen, colt in exchange for Dean being saved. The YED says that he needs something Mehr though: John's soul, like in the majority of deals. John doesn't get 10 years like in a normal deal, probably because he'd spend those years hunting for another way to kill the demon oder looking for a way to escape the deal. He only gets enough time to Bestätigen that Dean's alive.

The Reaper/Tessa only got temporarily possessed so that the demon could stop her from reaping Dean, fulfilling his end of this deal. The demon didn't want her.

There's no mention of any reference to Sam in that scene. John knew of YED's plans about Sam from the time he'd been possessed in Devil's Trap.

As to finding out if the demon dies/bullets are gone, just keep watching.
