I have been looking for a way to express my side of the Vampire Diaries shipping war, instead of just saying "I Liebe Stelena and I hate Delena." I think that Buffy can help me make my point. Okay, let me begin Von saying that I am going to try very hard to keep this from turning into a rant. To do that let me get get straight to the point and say what I didn't like about this episode. I honestly cannot tell Du how tired I am of the whole Elena/Stefan/Damon triangle. In fact, it is this aspect of the Zeigen that I royally despise. I understand that is the core concept of the Zeigen to begin with (because of the novels) but to be quite honest, as a viewer, I have grown very tired of watching constant foreshadowing and implications of the Liebe dreieck implemented into each episode. I mean, is it really necessary? I think not. I just feel like the Zeigen is trying to cram the Damon/Elena storyline down my throat and as a viewer, it is turning me off greatly. Ok so I know a lot of Du are happy that Elena chose Stefan. Some of Du are probably just ectastic. Honestly...I am not.

To me, when I see how Elena behaves towards Stefan, its just not the same Elena I saw in Season 1 and Season 2 (Especially Season 1). When she was talking on the phone with Damon, its like she is choosing to be with Stefan for all the wrong reasons. It was like she was implying that because she met Stefan first, she has such a huge connection to him and thats why she feels obligated to be with him. Thats what I got out of it.

Which is why she says, "Maybe if we met first"...

I wanted to write exactly why I Liebe Stelena so much. Put simply, it is because them being together is right. Elena found Home the first time that she kissed Stefan. They have found their soulmates in eachother, which is something that everybody wants. Stefan's proposal to Elena in The Struggle was also something that many girls dream of. The most heartbreaking parts of the book is always when these two are seperated. When Elena is killed in The Struggle, Stefan thinks of nothing butb avenging her death. His pain when she leaves agin before being resurected, as well as his declaration that...

Some people, mainly DE fans, seem to be trying to pair Stefan with anybody else but Elena, just to get him away from her. Elena has also been paird witha few different guys from the show. I wanted to give my opinion of these "couples" to Zeigen why I don't think any of them but Stelena will work. Sidenote: I will not include DE, since I think we have sagte Mehr than enough about them.
