Anakin definitely had a reason to hate the sand. It's quite sad not many people actually understand the reason, however.

I'm Currently Lesen Death Troopers I'm On Chapter 4 It's Getting Good So Far but I Wish It Would Get Straight to The Zombie Action We Don't Need That Much Context About the Barge and The Characters and Their Backstory on How They Got on The Barge and What They Did Before Getting on It. But I'm Pretty Excited to Finish It. What I Thought Was Pretty Funny Was When Trig & Kale Roasted Aur Myss Then Tricked Him to Get Away from Him So Aur Don't Kill Them for The Payment Which Trig & Kale Owed Him for Their Deal with Sixtus but Turns Out Sixtus Was Dead Which We Don't Know the Reason oder How He Died but I'm Taking a Wild Guess is That Either His Cell Mate Murdered Him oder He Died of Natural Causes but I Hope Some Where in the Story, They Will Tell Us How He Died.
