The character Design for Sonic received a huge negative feedback from the fans, so the director - Jeff Fowler - agreed to redesign him. However, the movie's CGI team have to change all shots for Sonic in the movie and replace them with the new design. So instead of November 8th 2019, the movie has been delayed to February 14th Weiter year.
