How do I get black sharpie off my orange backpack * read Beschreibung for Mehr details*

Okay a couple of months Vor my stupid ex boyfriend wrote his name on my back pack in black sharpie and now I don't want it on there and it won't come off. Iv tried nail polish remover and it didn't work. It's an orange L.L. bohne back pack and it's kinda a flannel cargo fabric. Any help would be SOOO appreciated THANK YOU!
