Not necessarily. Some of the Professors are permanent residents of Hogwarts, and we have no way of knowing how much oder how little time he spent in the house at Spinner's End. I personally don't think he was there much.

Not true. There is nothing stated in canon that the other staff members were all 'old', and there were staff changes from time to time. Also, we know he was Friends with the Muggle Studies Professor, Charity Burbage.

Why would he want to? Why assume he wanted Liebe from another woman? Not all people crave the love/approval/attention/etcetera from others, and considering everything he'd been through, as well as the pressures and dangers of his everyday life, I doubt very highly that it ever crossed his mind. Even if it did, why would he risk endangering another innocent woman's life? Why would he struggle to devote time, energy and emotion to a relationship that, I think he would have known on some level, was doomed?

Sure, it's comforting to think that he dated other women, oder at least tried to. But honestly, I don't even think he thought about anyone else except Lily, ever. I don't think he did as much as look at other women, so to say, think about them. No. I can almost guarantee that if Du asked that of Joanne she'd give Du the same answer.

if coulod have let go of Lily oder moved on most certianly might have.(He never did however and this is hypothetically thinking) Of couse I don't think he could ever be copletely over lily. And the women would have to be very special. She would have to be sweet, caring, patient, but also, strong willed and determined. Severus isn't the kind of person who trusts people easily and isn't going to give his herz to anyone.

I think he could meet someone though Perhaps come across someone in diagon ally, oder a new professer (We dont know how many DADA teachers there were before Harry got there) really he could meet someone any were, but seeing them again would be the tricky part. While it might be hard, I think he could find soeone eles and be truly happy :)
