Who cares if it wasn't artsy? I think the film is probably one of the best superhero films I've seen in a while. Not dark and antiheroish like most Marvel films(Spiderman, Xmen), but not too cartoony (Fantastic Four<shudder>)

I agree, this was probably the best superhero film i have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. I thought Robert Downey Jr. made the movie great by his performance as Tony Stark.

I like the point that dazl brings forth, it's not a 'cartoony' movie. I like the focus that was put on Tony Stark...and I think Robert Downey Jr. is Tony Stark. I don't think anybody else could've pulled that off.
